same thing I've tried to figure it out its not std from any of the tests ive had done. I believe its either allergic (aka scented soaps), Ive tried to switch to dove or something, maybe something friction related like heat rash as it does seem to come on sometimes after sex or masterbastion, last option was maybe yeast infection though it is rare that guys get one I did end up with red dots after finding my gf had yeast infection. Tried antifungal and it went away but it usually goes away after day or two so its hard to tell if it was medicine or just ran its course. I wouldn't worry to much it seems mostly to be annoying then dangerous, I also think it may just be foreskin related, keeps that area rather moist and warm then not being covered, so its more likely to breed bacteria. Just speculation mind you, I keep trying to figure it out.
About two years ago i had sex with this girl at a party (unprotected) , i didnt shower after,im 19, two days after i got two bumps at the tip of my penis, they then developed to smaller ones that spread throughout the head and inner shaft. I got tested for stds they were negative and i even took herpes medicine and doxyccline but it didn't help. they come out every couple months this small red bumps but they DO NOT HURT they ARENT FILLED with anything and they ITCH RARELY, they just fade and come back when i have sex and sometimes on their own, and i think semen or anything to do with masturbation and sex irritates them. I really need some answers please because im getting really scared :( what could it be, I read that herpes is painful and filled with oozing liquid this isnt like that. i have some pics of it i hope that'll help, itd be greatly appreciated thanks.

i have similiar problems for the past year and a half. i went to planned parenthood, dermatologists , and have been seeing a urologist for a year now.i have clean tests , and swabs. to be sure it aint herpes you should take a hsv specific test, or when this comes up again get a swab quickly. are you circumsised?if not you can have balantis , or candida infections. i have used nystatin for candida and it would work well for awhile but doesnt seem to work as fast anymore. it could be bacterial also. the best bet is get that stuff cultured as soon as it happens , then youll know what it is , herps, candida, or negative staph infection . miy swab came back as negative staph coagluase. i think its nothing to worry about like herpes.it takes atleast 4 months for herpes antibodies to show up to test positive , youve had this awhile so the test would be accurate, even though 80% of people have hsv1 which is coldsores, you can test positive for it and have it on your tool. if you test positive for hsv 1 it might not be the cause, but it could be, the only way to tell is have it swabbed as soon as this shows up. insist on being seen by a planned parenthood as soon as symptoms appear. i think your probably fine, dont worry too much , it has drove me nuts.
