I had unprotected sex 20 days back. I had red spots on penis head and fore skin after 5 days. Ones on the foreskin are itchy and they disappeared after 3 days. There was one spot just at the end of head which was really painful if I touch it or else no pain. I'm getting some weird smell between my thighs since then. After a week, the red spots again started to appear. This time more in number. All concentrated around the tip. No pain. Today morning, it looks like it had burst, but no sign of any liquid or pain. Is this Herpes?
Try a Google image search for what does make herpes look like and compare to that.

On the opposite end from the penis tip, I have a red, (really painful to the touch) bump; it's been there for about a week or so. Any ideas?
