Hi,

Alright well,I had a painful throat infection about two weeks ago.I went to the doctor who prescribed me antibiotics...the pain is gone but there is still some redness and my right tonsil is clearly more visible then my left, actually,im not even sure if it's my tonsil. It's in the back of my mouth, and it sort of looks like a white line drawing over a curve...it is only like this on the right side of my mouth.I went to a different doctor who completly dismissed it,which kind of annoyed me since I know it's there.oh,also, there's this sort of pimple in the back of my mouth, also on the right.

Anyway, should this be something to worry about or is it just the residue of the infection?

Thanks in advance!!

Did you finish the antibiotics completely as prescribed? If so, I would just wait a day or 2 and monitor it. If it looks like it may be getting worse, or you begin to feel pain again, get back to the doc.

In the meantime, you could try gargling salt water.
