I am an average runner with a desire to became very good. I have the usual equipment and pay special attention to the shoes I am training in. I chose them wisely and have never had any problems with them. I was suggested that I should change them every month. What do you think about replacing running shoes after a month?
You are wise to pay attention to the shoes you run in. Inadequate shoes can produce blisters or can make your toenails to fall off. You have obviously made the right choice as you haven’t experienced such problems. I don’t think that you have to replace them every month. Whether you are going to replace them or not depends on their mileage and overall condition. If you are comfortable running in your shoes and have no problems whatsoever I see no reason to replace them. On the other hand at first sign of anything unusual you have to buy a new pair. You owe it to your hard working feet.
