Is it okay to sleep under a ceiling fan if you have asthma or bronichial spasms? I have bronchitis and acid reflux that caused the spasms and spent three days in the Hospital. It's hard for me to breath without a fan but my son thinks it is bad for my lungs????
Thank's,

Hello there,
If you feel that you have been breathing easier under the fan than you should continue with that, but your son has right, this can be dangerous not just for your lungs but for your overall health. Have you been considering buying air condition?
Of course I would recommend that you talk to your doctor about this before you do it. I am sleeping, during the summer, under air condition and I don’t have any additional problems. I hope it could be good solution in your case as well. And you are aware that asthma by time only gets worse, so you need to relive symptoms of it as much as you can. I hope this was helpful.
Do you know of respiratory problems that occur when box fans are continually blowing cold air on babies?
