Hi. My name is Travis. When I was in HS I got the same thing. Eventually it went away. Same problem here. No one could tell me what it was. Question. Have you developed any kind of cysts on your body over the years since? Have you struggled from any problems like unexplained confusion or anger? I’m searching for answers myself. This happened to me when I was 18. I’m now 40. Still searching.
I have the same thing for the past three or four months now. The tiny white ring starts at the tip or on the sides of the tip of my tongue and then "bloom" or get larger and advance up on the top and sides my tongue until the middle of it or so, then go away, but usually not b4 another tiny ring starts on or near the tip. They burn, with spicy or acidic foods contact them, even more so. I have geographic tongue as well, and this is most definitely not the same. My doc proscribed me some oral tablets taken four times a day for ten days that didn't do a damn thing, so I took another round of those and still no results. I concur with another respondent here that this may be thrush and additionally may a symptom of diabetes. I sincerely hope not but am getting blood tested and contacted doc to see what is the next step. It's painful and restricting and I hope I can find a cure. I like the suggestion some one made on here about dietary changes and yeast (oral thrush is a yeast infection). I'm going to try that. if I find any alternative remedies, I will post. Be well, everyone!!!
