I am on Rinsapin therapy at the moment. This antibiotic has been prescribed for me as a treatment for staph infection. Already, at the second day of my therapy I noticed that my urine is colored. It is unbelievable; the color is something between green and blue. I don’t know what to do? Did anyone use Rinsapin? Is this normal?

Hey, Rinsapin belongs in the group of drugs that can cause urine color change as symptom. For example Rinsapin may make urine blue or green, but like other diagnostic drugs it is prescribed for that purpose. I used beta-carotene supplement and it colored my urine in orange. For example certain laxatives and phenolphthaleine may turn urine in red color. Anyway advise your doctor about that if that worries you much.
