have the same issue, starting 2 months ago my right testicle started to give me a tingly feeling and i could feel it ascending into my body, it gets stopped each time as if it cant fit into the cavity there and i slowly pull it down, its started to get more frequent the last 3 weeks and i noticed it was happening after my harder workout days, i work out 6 days a week ( run atleast 2 miles per work out day and then life weights ) also during the last 3 weeks its gotten more and more uncomfortable and even slightly painful, now the difference that i am seeing here is that i do not sit alot with my job, its not pulsing when i get the "muscle spasm" tingly feeling, the other thing is that i was born with a bi-lateral ingunial hernia, i have had no issues since the operation ( was about 9 weeks old when surgery performed ) i have also not noticed it during sex but 1/2 the time after ( has had no damper on my sexual activity or performance ), other wise it happens when i am winding down for the night and am totally relaxed. it has also only happend 3 times directly after working out, but like i said in the evenings after my harder workout days. im 23, very healthy ( other then being a pack aday smoker )

Hello everyone, thank goodness for the wonderful anonymity of the internet for investigating a problem like this. Ok, I'm not sure about the buzzing but for the last week or so I have not had pain but have definitely had discomfort. My left testicle has been rising in this time during sex/masturbation, once even to the point of going inside my body, although it did come back out quickly afterwards. I am 26, which seems to be around the age where this is happening to most of you. I have a couple of questions for those of you who have experienced this for a while. Firstly, I am getting the impression that this is something you just get stuck with, so, if this is the case, is it something that comes and goes? or can I look forward to this happening every time I have sex for the rest of my life? If someone has had this problem for a while, I, and I'm sure most other guys who google their way in to this forum would really appreciate your help and advice.

The consensus seems to be that there is no need to worry, which is comforting, but it is hard to find details on what to expect in the long run.

I could explain to you the complete formula for the vibration but .I highly doubt you would comprehend all the detail ,not that you are un educated or not welcome in the facts of technology .I will explain to you in the next month or so the full array of your situation ..

I have experienced a similar issue. My testicles will periodically rise into my groin area, up from my scrotum and round the shaft of my penis. sometimes one, sometimes both. My scrotum becomes very tight and almost seems to force my testicles up and out. This only occurs to me during extremely hightened sexual arousal. I am 27 and this has only started happening more recently, the past year or so. I am not overly concerned as I am in good physical condition and healthy. I have had a battery of STD related tests, all of them in fact and I am completely healthy. I relate this to a strong cremasteric muscle and is a perfectly normal, temporary phenomenon according to ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed

Directly from wikipedia when searching for 'testicle':
"The cremasteric muscle is part of the spermatic cord. When this muscle contracts, the cord is shortened and the testicle is moved closer up toward the body, which provides slightly more warmth to maintain optimal testicular temperature. When cooling is required, the cremasteric muscle relaxes and the testicle is lowered away from the warm body and is able to cool. This phenomenon is known as the cremasteric reflex. It also occurs in response to stress (the testicles rise up toward the body in an effort to protect them in a fight). There are persistent reports that relaxation indicates approach of orgasm.[citation needed] There is a noticeable tendency to also retract during orgasm."

The only time I would be concerned is if and when pain occurs. See your doctor.

From what I have been reading I believe the majority of you guys have the beginnings of Pudendal Neuralgia. Especially the guys that have had their problems start after prolonged sitting. The Pundendal nerve basically runs from your tailbone area and branches off to the penis (where it becomes the Dorsal nerve) and the testicles. The buzzing feeling is from the nerve sheath breaking down. I actually had this same problem that was brought on one day from sitting on a hard wooden chair at my computer all day.

I fixed it by taking B Vitamins. Methylcobalamin B12 and Benfotiamine B1. Jarrow maked a good 5000MG MethylB12 pill. These two B vitamins are fat soluble and readily absorbed. They stay in your body longer than their inferior, water soluble counterparts. In addition to taking these supplements, change your sitting habits. Try to avoid sitting if possible. It's important to not continually compress the nerve while it's trying to heal.

Okay I know this thread has gone very old but if anyone still finds it useful I will share my story. Ive had all the same stuff as listed above. Nut rising, buzzing sensation, dull pain, even sharp pains in my groin, gut and upper thigh. Doctors were very unsympathetic since they didnt know where to begin. I had been through it all, primary doc, urologist, testicular ultrasound, surgeon (to check for hernia). Nobody found anything wrong with me! I was miserable and depressed. This went on for months. At the same time I began seeking help for back pain (another story all together) and did countless hours of research online. Found very little on the subject but it turns out my pains were symptoms of sacroiliac (si) joint problems. The misalignment of the bones at this joint causes inflamation and aggravates nerves traveling to the lower abdomen and groin causing pain and spasms. Physical therapy has taught me how to manage my si joint issues and alleviate my pain and testicular problems 100%. Its a lot of core strength and low back exercising and proper stretching techniques to correct muscle weakness and imbalances allowing correct alignment of the hip bones as they sit on either side of the sacrum. A lot of which I believe was caused as so many others on here might, from working at a desk job all day and spending long hours seated in front of a computer. The exercise I did get was bicycling, which was more sitting, and in turn strain on the si joint. If you do seek out treatment or diagnosis for an si joint problem, be sure to first seek out a physical therapist or medical professional familiar with sacroiliac joint dysfunction, as many are not. I even had an orthopedist tell me what I was describing was nonsense. I can now say with confidence, HE WAS WRONG AND I WAS RIGHT. As a start go ahead and google si joint dysfunction to find a good deal of information(the first four or so results are very informative). That and some ibuprofin will do wonders to ease your worries once you begin to understand whats happening and that you can begin to do something about it.

I thought I would google this and surprisingly there is this whole page of similar stories. I am 31 , I do keep my phone (sprint evo) in my left pocket, and for the last 2 weeks, my left one keeps feeling like a buzzing or vibrating. It doesn't hurt really, it just is annoying and it can do it when standing or sitting down. I've drank a bunch of water, cranberry juice, taken multi-vitamins, and it still does it. I also work at a computer store typically 8-10 hrs a day, but I don't see how that would have anything to do with it. Any tips please share.
Thanks

I am a 37 year old male and I just started having this problem at the start of 2011. I originally thought I may have some kind of hernia because my right testicle was always riding up and I also had a dull ache that would go back and forth between testicles. I had a vasectomy during the summer of 2010 and went back for a checkup with the dr that performed that and he said everything looked fine. I then visited a urologist who examined me and sent me for an ultrasound and prescribed an antibiotic as he thought I may have had epididymitis. Ultrasound came back fine. Urologist said nothing to worry about and scheduled a followup. I do have to say that is has gotten better but I still notice occasionally, and especially after sex or masturbation, that my right testicle still wants to ride up and it only used to do that during intercourse. I too sit all day long in an office chair. After my "google research" I think I may have developed an overactive cremaster muscle which is causing the problem. I think alot of it has to do with stress as well. I have alot of that in my life just like many of you.

I'm having the same issue. Has anyone that posted previously come up with an actual solution? It's not painful, but started to drive me crazy. Went to urologist who said nothing was wrong.

Been in the medical field since '89, last 5 years in a general practice Dr's office. I'm not going to say "just ignore it" as it may be a symptom that needs to be addressed. BUT, for the most part, it is normal. I'm 44, and since puberty I've had this problem - usually the right testicle (rarely the left one) will ascend into the warmth of the body upon sexual arrousal and especially at orgasm. The reason is simple -the male's seed must be at the correct temperature to make it's trip successfully. Most of the time we men could care less about the temp of our stuff during sex (there is the small percentage that are trying to conceive... they definitely want those swimmers to be the right temp). For many (me included), sex is only for pleasure for me and for my wife (kids are out of the nest !) - but it's not always pleasurable when that testi goes into hiding, doesn't hurt, it just feels some pressure when it's pulled into the warmer climate.  I've found that, even in Summer, if I throw a blanket over my lower extremities, the temp is kept high and they both hang free during and after orgasm. Again, this is my experience and may not work for everyone's situation. Just realize that it's really normal as the swimmers must be at a certain temp to do their job, therefore our amazingly designed bodies know to pull that testi up to warmer digs until the job is done, then it slowly drops. What an amazing design !

I am 51 and have been having problems with my testicles riding up especially during an erection .It's gets very painful at times . I have even tried using a penis/testicle to try to keep them down but they just pull out . Ive had 4 inguinal hernia surgeries (2 on each side} and the mesh was put in . I'm just wondering if the mesh could somehow have adhered to the testicle cords themselves.
