I have been on roacutane treatment now for 3 months and have another 3 months to go before I finish treatment. I am having really bad side effects like nose bleeds, sore joints (my ankles are really killing me to the point walking in flat shoes is a nightmare so I prefer high heels), VERY dry nose so I use baby oil to lubricate the inside of my nose.

I would like to have a baby, and am not sure sure how long after using can I start trying for one. I hear 2-4 months and then a year, and then 5 yrs. I really do not want to wait 5 yrs for a child coz I already have a 6 yr old and an 11 yr age gap is not fair on him. My husband is also keen on having a baby. Is one year sufficient time? Can you check my blood if the whole thing is out of my system once I stop using it? >:(
