Okay so I'm 19, I've been on the same birth control for almost 3 years, and have been having sex with the same person during that time. Everything had been fine up until recently.

I finish my active pills on a Saturday, and start the dud pills on a Sunday. My period USUALLY comes on the following Wednesday or Thursday, and usually only lasts until Saturday.

The period right before my last period came on the Saturday right BEFORE I started my dud pills, and lasted all the way through Sunday. I thought this was strange because even before I was on birth control I only ever had my period for four or five days. (I'm pretty tiny, so there's not much my body needs to "rid" of) I was kind of like "hmmm?", but I was due for my yearly anyway, so when I went for my exam I told my doctor about it. She said everything was normal, that sometimes these kind of things happen, but she switched me to a stronger dose of the same birth control anyway.

Soo, I started taking the new pills, thinking that my period would return back to normal that month. Wrong. The very same thing happened again, only this time I got my period on the Sunday I started my dud pills, and it lasted through Saturday.

I've heard that sometimes it takes a while for your body to adjust to the new medication, and that you should usually wait at least a month to see if things return to normal.

So I was just wondering, should I talk to my doctor again about upping the dosage? Also, I've heard that sometimes your body can change since the time you first started taking the pill and had your blood checked. Should I ask them to check my blood again to see if anything has changed and I need a stronger pill?

I'd appreciate the advice :-)
I lost my virginity about a week ago, and now I have a major acne breakout on my chin ( I have never had this before) my period isn't for another 2 weeks, any ideas? Could this be related ?
