So my scrotum has been red on both sides with a fleshy stripe down the middle for nearly a year now. It does not itch and there are no other problems, but I was wondering if there was any way to get back to my normal coloration. It is not an STD or jock itch, but I have no clue what it is. Please help.

Same for me. I wanna know too.

It isn't the perineal raphe if that is what you were referring to. I am more concerned with the fact that my scrotum is mostly red (and worsens with heat).
The flesh colored stripe isn't red and is roughly an inch wide (and is not thickened). That part does not concern me, it's just an observation.

XDas long as it's not itchy or flaking it's normal. Some dudes have redder balls then others. It's no different than some people have red hands or faces while others don't. It can come with age and varies in people. Don't let it worry you.

I had this for over a year. It began with an industrial case of jock itch that spread everywhere. Once the jock itch was finally done and I stopped going to the derms I decided to buy some cetaphil cleanser. I use it twice a day, and did it for six months...all of a sudden it's gone! I still have flare ups with folliculitis and when I do my bills get redder but it's not nearly as bad. My key was not to put anything on balls. No creams, no powder just the gentle cleanser. For a while I had thought the redness was due to the antibiotic cream I had been given but I was off it for months and the redness continued. For me if the folliculitis comes back I put a very thin layer of calmoseptine on it, let it dry out and then I am good.

This sounds similar to what I am currently experiencing since the beginning of December 2022. My dermatologist thought at first it could either be a bacterial or fungal infection and treated me for both. But when there was no real improvement from the prescribed creams and oral medication, his final diagnosis was Red Scrotum Syndrome. I didn't have any symptoms other than the redness at first, but soon developed some itchiness and slight burning. So there does not seem to be a known cause or real cure for it. I am hoping as quickly as it came on it will disappear.
