I have a sebaceous cyst on the penis' shaft. I saw my dermatologist and she recommended surgical excision. The cyst is about 1cm in diameter but is a bit deep under the skin.
I am worried about the scar tissue forming due to surgery. My questions are:
How do I minimize the scar tissue? The scar tissue will be less pliable than the rest of the skin. Will this cause any discomfort / pain in the future when I get erections?I also seem to have very tiny sebaceous cysts at the base of the penis. The dermatologist says they're normal and benign. I would like to know if it is possible to use Fucidin or similar creams to get rid of these cysts as well and prevent them from growing big? How do I prevent the future occurrence of a sebaceous cyst?
Thanks!
You are under a doctor's care.
You should be asking them these questions about their treatment.

Are you able to tell me in detail about your procedure and recovery? I need to go and get the same surgically removed.
