My mum had a large abdominal hernia op early July 08, she has been back and forth from drs to hospital several times. She is now in hospital again awaiting a scan and has been told she has a seroma. At 64 years of age, she looks 6 months pregnant. I am worried that she will be left with a large lump and swelling on her stomach. The dr has told her that they will drain it tomorrow - but worried now that you all seem to mention the draining of only 150ml, or regular drains/needles. I would love some more advice and support please LOL.
