Thank you for posting this thread. I was getting really worried if I was alone in my situation, and this thread proves otherwise. So here is my status in short. Had surgury Monday morning, and it is Thursday late night. Day 1; spent sleeping due to heavy meds from surgury. Day 2; pain kicked in hard and resisted taking the hydromorphine pills (my body dissagrees with Norcodics). Barely can walk to the bathroom to take a piss, and when I do, I wait for 10 minutes for it to trickle down. Day 3; can walk a little better, but still hurts as hell to get up from bed or from the Lazyboy. Day 4; the freak show happenned to my pinus and jewels. Significant swelling in only part of my rode, and blue/black sacks. this is what got me here!! My advice so far, take your Advil, Lax and ice the spot every few hours.
Hope this helps fellow brothers in pain...

I had inguinal done 2 seperate tomes. First one was a nightmare I think they cut something they were not supposed to on the right side. Called the right bundle branch. A branch of nerves that lies under where they cut. Of course they would not admit to it but my primary thought so. Left me with a bunch of problems. 6 yrs. Later still sore feeling all the time right testicle did improve took about a year and never fully went down (swelling) its roughly 75-100% larger than the left and I have a weird lump i guess we'll call it at the base of my testicle never gotten better. Weight gravity pain especially when running. Also I saw in above post spermadic cord swollen that happened to and still is always tender. Also now 6 yrs later the wife and I are trying to have a child and no luck for a year now? So hope you get better results than me. Lreft inguinal happened as they said everything went great healed right up no pain no tenderness within 4 months it was perfect. Right side screwed up forever. It sucks I'm pissed tried to sue. Couldn't apparentlt you sign something before surgery that surgeon is not responsible for anything rhat may go wtong pretty much in layman's terms. Angry everyday. Take care of it all i can say. Pray I we do not get testicular cancer.

Hello guys. I had my Right Inguinal Hernia Surgery 6 weeks back. Just after the surgery, my right testicle did pain a lot and it was about 3 times the size of the left testicle. I was quite concerned if it was normal as my doctor didn't tell me about it. But now it is just 1.5 times the size of the left testicle. It is reducing but quite slowly. I guess it will be normal in a few more weeks. Just not lose hope. Everything will be fine. ;)
I still feel some pain sometimes. I do masturbate once in two days and it just pains sometimes. But it also is fine most of the other times. The epididymis portion is a bit altered but the doctor says it's normal and it will heal in another 2 months. So it is all fine. Cheer up guys.

I had a inguinal hernia surgery just over a month ago. I still have a bit of swelling, and it gets hard when I do anything physical. I get a little worried when this happens, but judging from your comments I'm a little less stressed out. I wanted to ask if Its ok to be doing exercise? My surgeon said its ok after a mont so i've done it but maybe it's come back bc of the swelling and it being hard.

I had an inguinal mesh repair two years back without complications. A year later though it failed, and viscera dropped back into my scrotum. I have decided, after hearing all the horror stories (especially ones about losing sensation or losing a testical- I've already lost one to cancer- that I'm just going to live with it when and if it gets too uncomfortably large. Now the scrotum is of regular size, but I can feel the gummy viscera which firms up when the scrotum contracts in respons to cold. The rate of strangulation after four years is 1/1000. I'll take my chance. I'm tired of being scared by death- we all die of something. I have a far better chance of dying from heart disease or cancer than bowel strangulation.

I'm 5 days postoperation have of you guys in the group had any issues with testicle pain after laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia repair? I know it's only been five days for me but I've done freaked myself out reading c**p online. My left testicle seems like it's went back to normal and the swelling in my sack seems to be going down. But, my right testicle is still very sensitive, it takes me a little while to walk normal after I get up from laying or sitting. It seems like my right testicle is up and at the front of my sack more than it used to be. It also not moving around in the sack like my left one is. Is this normal?? Has any guys experienced this with it going away?? So worried!!

Also when I lift my penis to pee there is discomfort in my right testicle also!!
