I've been having severe right sided pain off and on for the past year. I've been to the ER 4 times due to it being it so severe and they did numerous tests and everything came back fine. They said that my appendix was fine. I even had a colonoscopy & endoscopy and they only found 1 polyp, but said everything else looked fine. I'm 24. I keep having this right sided pain for a couple of days and then it will go away, but also every time I eat, no matter what it is, I have to go straight to the bathroom. I was diagnosed with IBS when I was 12, but it wasn't nearly this bad. I feel like the doctors are missing something. I have every symptom of Crohn's, but because the tests come back normal, they won't even just try me on the medicine to see if it helps. They didn't hesitate to put me on the 7 meds that I have to take every day just to be able to work. Is it possible to have Crohn's without it showing on a test?
