Hello. I'm 20 year old female and I have some very important questions. You see, I'm just becoming sexually active and there are few things that are in my mind constantly.
I thinking a lot about possible sexually transmitted disease that I could catch up. Like I said, I'm sexually active for several months now and all this time with one boy.
Because I'm scared with these things I can't relax enough and it started to interfere with normal sexual communication.
Can please someone tell me more about these sexually transmitted infection and is there any way I could avoid them?

Sexually transmitted disease are most common infections and you should be familiar with it. There are more then 20 STDs and they could caused by bacteria, virus or parasites.
Most common bacterial STDs are gonorrhea, syphilis and chlamidia.
Of course, most deadly viral STD is HIV/AIDS but beside it there are also several others such as hepatitis and herpes.
Any unusual symptoms should be reported to your physician.
Don’t thing about this that much. Only way you could protect your self is using a condom. It protects you also from unwanted pregnancy.
