I have stabbing pain that started a week ago in my lower right stomach. The pain increasing got worse so I went to the hospital. I have endometriosis and IBS and the pain only can be compared to ovarian cyst which I've had in the past. After 21 hours in the ER they ruled out ovarian cyst or a torsion but they diagnosed me with appendicitis. Before the surgery they wanted a ct scan to confirm what they found on the ultrasound but it showed nothing. They sent me home and now I don't know what to do. The pain feels like a knife being stabbed into me mainly on the right lower side but now it has moved to the left. The only thing that helps is a heat pack and morphine that they gave me at the ER. I can barely eat without feeling like I need to throw up, or move without pain. I am in so much pain and I need to know what is going on, does anyone have similar pain?
I've had similar pains ever since I was a teen they come and go. I had stopped getting them for a while, I'm now 21 and I've started getting them again recently. Stupidly I thought it had went away on its own. I never went to the hospital but I'm starting to get concerned now! I have no idea what it could be but from what I've been reading it can be something serious.
