I started birth control about 2 and half months ago and on April 17th I had unpretected sex, lately I've been fatigued, having cramps, and spotting. I know those are signs of pregnancy but is it to early to show signs? I'm not supposed to get my period until may 7. Could these signs be my body adjusting to the birth control?
I had spotting for a few months while I was first getting on birth control. Ive heard that it takes a few months for your body to adjust to whats going on with all these new changes :-) But if they are making you feel fatigued and cramping, maybe the kind you are taking is not right for you. There are soooo many different kinds that you can try just with the OK of your doctor of coarse :-P
Hi:
This could be your body adjusting to the BC, however, it sounds like these symptoms just started, which could indicate some change that's going on. Home pregnancy tests are less likely to detect and early pregnancy. Wait a couple of weeks and try the home test again, or you can go to a medical professional to have a more professional test done, which would likely detect an early pregnancy. If your symptoms last a few more days and continue to interfere with your daily routine, see your doctor to get some relief and some firm answers.
