I am waiting for a hernia (goin) repair (3 weeks) and have noticed a more discomfort,I am also getting pins and needles in my left arm and wondered if this was a side effect.
Pin and needles in the left arm should not be related to a hernia (groin) repair.

This sounds like a seperate issue.

You should discuss this with your doctor before you proceed.

I agree, that sounds like a circulation issue or somethiing like that. I would definitely talk to your doctor about it because that doesn't sound too good! Can you let me know how you're doing once you go? Thanks!

Hallo,
I know that hernia is a thing that anybody can get at any age. This is why it is so complicated. My cousin has one when he was 4 years old and after twenty years he had another one. So as you can see there is no patter here. You have to be careful your whole life not to get hernia. The thing with hernia is that your muscles can rip and you will feel a lot of pain in that area. It can also affect your testicles where you might even become sterile. The surgery is the best option to treat hernia. I hope this helped in any way.

All the best to you,
Karen
