I noticed that my local gym has a power plate available and I have heard that it can be great to lose weight real fast, and gain some abs too! A work out with a power plate only takes something like 20 minutes but is mean to be very intense. Is that OK? Does working out with a power plate have any side effects that I should know about? Or can I give the power plate a try?
Hello lorin177
The main advantage about power plate is time saving. The developers are claiming that using the power plate for 10 minutes is the same as 60 minutes of conventional exercise. And of course your goal is to lose weight and gain some abs as fast as possible. But you should be careful. For the beginners it is best to start slow and then increase frequency gradually. And you should start with nine minutes, not twenty. And of course that you are concerned about side effects but there are hardly any. There are no cardiovascular benefits so maybe it would be best to combine power plate with other types of exercises. And it would be great to let us know the results of using power plate.
