100% ice chewing does in fact cause tinnitis. It does stem from iron deficiency anemia. I have continuous loud "sizzling" ringing in my ears, I can't seem to stop my addictive ice chewing habit. As a matter of fact whe. My freezers ice maker broke, I had to buy a countertop ice maker so I could make it everyday in bulk.
