Hi I'm a 17 year-old female. I had Ovarian cyst surgery 6 weeks ago and nothing has felt right after. I also have anemia and the doctor doesn't know why yet, I getting more blood work done soon. I wasn't able to do anything until 3 weeks ago, exercise wise. I started walking and now doing the elliptical with light weight training. I have pain/discomfort every day I exercise and the day after too. My pain is described as an itchy vagina, abdominal pain, pain down my right thigh (cyst was on right side), having a tough time passing bowel movements, tingling feeling near my right ovary and just recently pain on my chest and esophagus. I don't know what to do because my parents just think it's the healing process but I am scared to death thinking it's a hernia. Anyone have any ideas? Oh and an addition: the cyst was probably the size of a watermelon; it held 1.5 liters of liquid.
could you be consipated due to all the medications from surgery. constipation sometimes causes acid reflux too which sounds like what is causing your esophagus and chest pain. try adding fiber to your diet or take a laxative, if that doesn't do the trick call your dr.
