Hello, A few months ago I developed a really bad itch at the base of penis/top of my scrotum. It has been and currently is frequently itchy.
Just this week, after scratching it often, I have noticed a tiny skin-colored bump/inflammation appear. The bump is pretty smooth, somewhat flat, and about the size of dime. Due to the scratching, there is some very minor bleeding or even discharge (it's so minimal that I'm not sure if it is red or clear to determine if it is blood or puss, etc). It is technically on the scrotum, but kind of reaches the very base of my shaft.
I am very, very nervous...and the itching is not letting up. Yes, I am a sexually active 26-year-old man. What could this be? Herpes? HPV? Syphilis? I know I must see a doctor, but what are the best guesses so far? Thanks so much!!
