a lot of the times when you shave you get red dots and they usually are ingrown hair thats why you cant pop them and it hurts, it is possible to pop them but it hurts and in most cases it will leave a scar so i would recommend not to do so. i started shaving when i was 15 as well and i had the same problem but believe me they go away. i realized it was mostly irritation since that area is a bit sensible, also when hair would start to grow thats the time when i would have more little red bumbs. but ladys they go away on their own our body is really smart it pretty much takes care of it self on its own.

dont worry these are called Fordyce Spots like 80 or 90% of the population has them they may itch because you shaved them its ok to have them unless they are on the head then its hpv

Do NOT freak out. I am 15 as well and have these small bumps. I did some research and found that they are totally normal spots and appear during puberty and are totally harmless! If you are worried about it you can always go see a doctor though. He/She will tell you the same thing.

The best thing to do when you're getting tired of hair around your genitals is to get them waxed professionally. If you do decide to shave, use a brand new razor, moisturizing shaving cream (for sensitive skin is recommended). Try to shave in the direction that the hair grows. It probably won't give you the clean, baby smooth look you're going for, but reduces the chances of things like this happening. If you decide you want absolutely no sign of stubble and shave against the grain, I suggest using PLENTY of moisturizing soap/shaving cream while doing so, patting the area dry and applying a nice layer of Neosporin. IT MAY ITCH. DO NOT SCRATCH. Try doing this before you go to bed so you can lay a towel on the area instead of putting tight underwear on right after your shave. I've found doing so to be very helpful.
The red bumps are most likely just razor rash, that and when you shave down there, plus the warm water you use, etc, opens up the pores around the area. That being said after a day you start getting tiny little pimple like things around the area, it is most likely just the oils from your body getting trapped in those pores, much like you get on your face, back or chest, but a wee bit smaller. Don't worry, it is NOT an STD or really much of anything to worry about.

I have the same problem! I think. Well these people are talking about razor rash and pimples and lips? But I have exactly what you have although, instead of pimples I would call it like a scab? And I didn't even notice it at first because I DON'T shave. I thought that was the problem but now I'm afraid to because I don't want to rip that c**p off. >_<

i've never actually shaved my genital area as i prefer to give it a trim with scissors. In any case, i've also notices these small red bumps, from what i've read it could probably be acne as i do have it although it has never appeared around my genital area

I get pimples or u can say bumbs that hurts a lot right on the penis's base where the hair grows. I cant wwar pants or let anything touch it including having a pants on it. Because it is right on the place where your pants would be on. I had a point where I have to pull and hold my pants and walk like a handycap. I cry nd scream even when my t-shirt touch it too it was really a bad pain. Some people said it came cuz of lifting heavy boxes at my work. But I went to a clinic and the doctor said that he have to drain it and take off the stuffs inside it. Which was also some blood. And then they putted some kind of yellow clothe nd putted insid the whole that ce afyer breaking and draining the bump. Then I went home with bandaid on it but felt way better then before. .well the doctor said it was a ingrown hair nd it eill come again. Like he said it comes again as 2 or 3 sometimes. And the way they look is scary. It will be like red as if its gonna pop it self. . Some tims I get scared if its something else.. anyone going thru this?

I read many answers amd did my research off of that and im 99% sure majority of people here have fordyce spots. They are fully harmless just a visual issue and unfortunately there aren't many cures or good ones
