Yeah, its a Jock Itch. I'd it too.Symptoms:1. Extremely Itchly Scrotum (and inner thighs in some cases).2. Dry skin which often peels off.3. Leaves a rash thats itchy but mildy painful when scratched at.Causes:1. Profuse sweating.2. Yeast Infection due to unsanitary health habits (may be unknown in some cases).Cure and Prevention:1. Bath DAILY! thoroughly clean yourself (with soap you aren't allergic to). And maintain your personal soap.2. Use clean Underwear. Try Changing them twice a day (even if you aren't bathing twice a day).3. Use Anti-Infection Cream (I don't suggest the Spray as it contains alcohol).4. Consult a physician/doctor/Dermitologist who knows your medical history. (if you don't have one, now would be a good time to do so)5. Keep your bed/clothes/personal items clean too. Use disinfectants and dry them in sunlight (UV rays kill germs/bacteria/Fungus).If incase you've contracted this condition by being sexually active with a unknown patner, immediately make an appointment with a well-versed Urologist. Don't neglect and wait any longer.Hope this helps.
In a lot of cause with this type of problem, many suffer from dry itchy skin. Try using a mild soap when you shower, We all like to take a hot bath or a hot shower, the hot water itself will dry out your skin. Most laundry detergent will also play a part in drying out our skin.
It has been a proven fact the all men have itchy balls, take a little more time and care on what you use on your skin, try to avoid the temtation to scratch, that itself only makes it worse. Try a medicated powder such as Gold Bond.
can too much sex be a reason ?
I probably just had dry itchy skin, but maybe not. So I used the Fresh Lavender scent hand soap from Bath & Body Works. I didn't try the other scents from B & BW so I'm only recommending the Fresh Lavender.
The active ingredient is Triclosan which is an antibacterial & antifungal agent. That's probably what got rid of the itchiness due to either a bacteria or fungus.
How did you know your friend had one.?? lol
stop scraching and it goes in a couple of days.
Neosporin works best for me. It has cleared up even the most sever dry peeling down there with no problem.
