I have had an endoscope, cat scan, and colonoscopy, they can not find the problem, but my doctor says I have a few fibroids inside. However, could the fibroids cause me to feel like something is moving inside me all the time. My husband and I joke that we have a phantom baby, sometimes it freaks me out. I had my tubes tied and I had an endometrial ablation. I have also had 2 pregnancy tests to be on the safe side both with negative results. I am really scared, could I have a tape worm or something? Please advise.
i am 47 with the same occurance. i have had fibroids since 1996. had a urethal stent inserted between the fibroids and my right kidney. i have two grown sons and the fluttering feels very much like their movements . 8)

I am 49, also have fibroids. I too get these movements in my womb, that feel like a baby kicking. I am convinced its connected as so many women online seem to be experiencing these sensations. Hope this helps.

I have felt something for about five weeks... and my stomach has grown larger as well. Went to clinic where I was told I had gas and sudden belly fat and to walk more. Don't think its gas... not related to eating in any way. not too bad at night but rocking and rolling during the day. Can see my stomach move... little palpitations on my lower belly - can see movement too... feels like a seven month old baby rolling about. Has mostly been annoying but now getting very uncomfortable. I am 48, have had 7 negative pregnancy tests.. no insurance but trying to get a medical appt now.

ive had it today a lot lot its freaking me out but im remaining calm as its not painful and im not annoyed i am going to doctors tommorrow it started at macdonalds lol of all places strange yeah about 2ish hummm any way thyroids and thybroids run in my genes so it may be the case thats maybe what causes it it could be air or gastrusiteritis i hope not or maybe irritable bowle syndrome but that normall is painful but its best to get blood tests and an exray im doing this with my doctor it could just be recations to food and drink maybe theres a simple form or medicine we can take for it it could be a phontom pregnancy if you lost one any really want one your body may be having a rection if you've recenlty lost a pregnancy or want one its worth checking all of these symptoms and things out to see what symptoms these issues can cause so best to see what one might be in your case then go with surgestions to your doctors surgery requesting these check ups to be done on you but you if scared of needles have to be a bit brave im affraid to find out the real cause becayse most of whats been mentioned show up in blood results but if your really a no go area for needles just explain there must be other ways to check

look up cryptic pregnancy. there is a lack of the hCG hormone on cryptic pregnancies and the reason behind the show "I Didn't Know I was Pregnant." urine and blood tests often show up negative, and there have been a few cases where nothing shows up in the sonogram - which baffles me. 1 in 450-500 women have a cryptic pregnancy and not know it until they feel kicks or have other signs after the 20 week mark. 1 in 2000 or so won't know until labor starts. many doctors will brush it off upon negative tests. push back if they brush it off. i'm sick of doctors attributing everything they can't explain to people being fat, especially with something as serious as a possible pregnancy. oh and another wonderful fact. apparently cryptic pregnancies often last MUCH longer than the typical 9-month. i read the average is 17 months. a woman in Nigeria was pregnant for 3-4 years before having the child. if you're having regular menses, something about that is a contributor the the fetal growth being dramatically slowed. when you get an appointment, bring it up even if the doc thinks you're a nut. push back on these doctors that don't have time to actually TREAT patients.

It might be a floating kidney. Sometimes, after childbirth, or for various other reasons, one of your kidneys can become detached and seriously float around your abdomen. It is not even that uncommon. It goes undiagnosed bc you need to do an cray or an ultrasound standing up and laying down to see that the kidney moves. Perhaps bring this up to your dr and have him/her check. I have had this problem for over a year.
