Hi I'm a young teen girl and my left armpit is sure and tender. I think it might be a lymph node but im not sure. Any one have any advice?

It's possible to have a lymph node that may be tender. Do you wear deoderant? Some deoderants can be quite harsh and can irritate the poors in your armpit. Sometimes they can become infected. When infected the white blood cells in the lymphnodes will try to clean up the area. In the process of doing so white blood cells proliferate and make the lymphnode larger due to the presence of more white blood cells. I don't know if your old enough to shave your underarms, but it is not advised to put deoderant on your underarms after you shave. This can be very irritating and that can cause an infection.
