Ok, i'm a 15 yr old female with a lot of similar symptoms such as: an ear ache (right ear); Chest pain when i swallow (mid to the right side of the chest); it feels like there is something stuck in my throat; my nose is stuffed, and I have a loss of breath when I eat. I won't eat because of it, it's not that i don't want to, it's that it hurts that bad. Please help

i have the same signs only 14 thought it was throat herpes but non of my symptoms match up! my ears ache like its a dull sound eatin is impossible got a low fever sneezin followed and coughing and losing my breathe. eating is out of the question!

i have the same symptoms except my feeling in my ears is as though my ears are popping, my throat feels as though there is something stuck there when i swallow and also a dull pain in the right side of my throat.i have had it for 6 weeks. Had a ultra sound on the side of the neck that the guy said was swollen lymph nodes nothing of concern..yer i feel annoyed no on helps or they are like you have an infection..but cannot tell you what it is!!!!!!! i am frustrated like yoo wouldnt believe cos i work in a call center i need my ears and my voice.... please please please!!!! any ideas>? i am so frustrated :-(

I have the same symptoms I just got it today im scared it hurts really bad my tonsils have been swollen the last 3 days which i think is causing the ear ache in my left ear....
Should I go get antibiotics? im only 11 years old I have been eating freezy pops to numb my tonsils but don't seem to work I took some Tylenol waiting for that to kick in it just seems to get worse and worse it just suddenly happened in second period in school the nurse checked my ears and said she couldn't see anything help?

Friday - July 17th, upper right side of throat started aching.
Too late in day to even call to make an appointment.
Saturday - July 19th , same side of throat and right ear hurt.
Saturday night - a few teeth on right side ache.
Sunday - teeth no longer ache and started thinking this was passing. Barely any pain when I went to bed 4hrs ago
Monday - 3am - I want to scream or cry.
I do have bone loss from teeth, ear issues, no tonsils, allergies, snore, breath through mouth when I sleep, and smoke (yeah, stupid to encourage problems)
I am going to my ear doc, if they can squeeze me in today.
Going to discuss this issue with my dentist as well. Fat lot of good it would do to remove the teeth if the nerve is left intact though. I also have had wisdom teeth removed and every so often ache on that side.
I had an ear ache similar to this 2yrs ago. Allergy meds, pain meds, anti inflammatory, and antibiotics were prescribed. 5 days it was all over, with the threat I may need a tube in my ear
all I can suggest is - Get a decent ENT doc.
If they don't take a history of your ear or throat issues or consider allergies then smile and move on to the next one.

yea i have the exact same thing as all of you guys... I think its the heater in my room personally when i move my bed away from it while I sleep it gets a little better

Okay I have had the same issue - my doc says its just hyper sensitivity to allergy - and to inhale steam on a daily basis.. no medicines help with this.. stay away from dust and other allergy inducers..

Hi I have been like this for 3 months thought it was only me!!!! so frustrating g.p not interested............but I went to see a physio (believe it or not) cos I was at my wits end .I have only had one course of treatment she recommended accupuncture (got to the stage where I'll try anything).my ears are ok now , hoping pain in throat will go away soon 4 courses of treatment have been reccomended. money well spent £35.00 per sesion.

for those of you who get nowhere with doctors regarding throat and ear pain... there is one factor that is largely overlooked which can cause bacterial infection "like" symptoms such as a sore throat and ear pain... air quality... if you have pets, especially birds (the dead skin and folicles that many domesticated birds shed every day have been known to cause major ear infections), combined with the usual amounts of micro particles that populate every square inch of breathable air in the average home... it can wreak havoc on your sinus cavities, ear canals, nasal cavities, lungs, esophagus, and the throat... i suggest at least trying an air purifier, something that collects all of the microscopic debris that seems to infest every inch of space. Some of you may be extra sensitive to all of this "stuff" that we all breathe in constantly... good luck :-)

HEy there everyone...So I have the EXACT same symptoms everyone describes.. Earaches, swollen throat and a random achy pain everynow and then in my throat...but one thing thats a lil different than all your ent stories is that mine just told me that my tonsils were going bad....He asked if I had ever spit out little cottage cheese looking round balls which was crazy cuz I have and said that was the first sign tonsils are probably going bad. I was convinced I had throat cancer and still even kinda think I do but hopefully when I get these babies removed the symptoms stop...
