Hi there, I had something very similar earlier this year, for about 4 months. Constant pain lower right side with throbbing and stabbing pains for added joy, pain radiated round my right hip to my lower back and into my groin. I had tests and ultrasounds but they found nothing. In the end they thought I might have endometriosis so decided to do a laparoscopy, it was only then that they discovered a fatty lump had attached my right ovary to the pelvic wall. This obviously doesn't help you guys out there but hope that it might be of some help to the girls. There was nothing showing up in scans so without the laparosocpy they wouldn't have discovered and removed the lump.

Hi All

I am a 21yr old female that is suffering with the exact same symptoms but its only come on in the last couple of hours. I suddenly have a very bloated and distended stomach with a stabbing pain on the right side of my abdoman. I have no other pain then this I just feel uncomfortable and then when I stand, sit funny or breath deeply I get the sharp pain. The pain is located near my right hip, so much so I feel if I press the area with my finger I can almost "touch" the pain!

This has lasted all day today (about 5 hours) and has still not passed.

My periods are always regular and have never caused me problems, I have had no difficulty going to the toilet today and have passed wind since the pain but still it persists?

If anyone has had any diagnosis since writing these posts please let me know

I've also been experiencing right abdominal pain (too high up to be appendix) I've had an ultrasound, CT scan and next week will be going for a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. I'm very worried as I have 2 kids and would really like to see them grow up. My doctor has already ruled out appendix, ovary problems and gall stones. My liver and pancreas are healthy and besides nausea, lack of appetite and loose stools I'm otherwise healthy. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

I have been having these EXACT symptoms for 3 days. and I'm in my early 20s. (including the one above me about the uterus/ bum situation, TMI) I had a mirena inserted last month, so I'm guessing that could be the issue, although I'm unable to find anything online matching my symptoms. I went to my regular doctor, and without even taking my temp, said it's normal and I'm fine. So I'm going to make an appointment with another doctor... one that will actually LISTEN to my symptoms.
When I lay down, the pain starts. When I stand up, it's gone. It's getting really annoying, because I can't sleep. I'm considering going to the ER right now, but I don't know what my insurance will decide to cover. Occasionally it feels like I'm being stabbed right under my belly button. I do not have any IBS, fever, illnesses, or any diseases/ viruses (etc.) In other words, I'm considered perfectly healthy.

just wondering, did you all get the HPV vaccine? Just wondering, since it's mainly targeted to women under 30. I recently found out that it actually does way more harm than good. I wish I could get it removed. Also, you may want to look into PID. It can often have odd symptoms, most similar to ours, and there's no true test for it. Bring it up next time you can see a doctor, so they can see if your symptoms match. I read that it can also have antibiotic reactions similar to some of the posts above me. It's more common with STI complications, but any bacteria can cause it.

btw, it is possible for your uterus to 'fall out' so you may want to get that looked at. Its more common after childbirth, though.

I do have stabbing shooting pains on lower right abdomen several times.  I cannot run or cough and it comes up sharp shooting pains.  I had adhesion after I had C-section. They found the organs were connected and that is why I had all those pains while I was pregnant.  The doctors fixed my adhesion.  Now six years later the pain is back. I wonder if the adhesion is causing those pains.  Any suggestions?

Been having very similar symptoms. I'm 29 and little over a month ago I decided to reduce my sugar intake by cutting out pop and pastry sweets. I lost a lot of weight really quick, about a pound a day until last week when I plateaued at 230 lbs; I'm almost 6 feet tall... I wanted to lose weight because I felt likeI never had enough energy. I was literally using sugar as a sedative. It wasn't too uncommon for me to eat a dozen Oreo Cookies and pass out. So anyway, I started getting these needle like pains and blood pressure/ circulation sensations a couple weeks after the sugar reduction.. Sometimes it feels like muscle spasms. I get weakness in my legs. It's scary as hell. I get dizzy and weak... Just pins and needles everywhere... Spine feels like it's wearing away. Worst of all, it feels like I can't breath enough. I have no Idea what it's from.  I'm thinking Environmental? I can get most symptoms gone with a  standard sleep aid, valerian tea, and a vegal maneuver. Aspirin makes it worse. If you'd like to see a safe way to create a vegal response, and relieve some blood pressure, then click here.

Have your spine checked out for sciatica. Your one leg may be longer than the other causing pinching on the nerves in your back leading to pains down your legs, groin and organs in that area and intestine.
