I'm experiencing a discomfort on my lower right side. Not necessary a sharp pain, just an dull ache. Also my entire right lef down to my toes feels like a dull ache more like poor circulation feeling but annoying. Also reoccuring stomach aches. I been feeling very tired and sleepy and just feel ill like something is difinetely wrong. I just made an appt. to my G.I. Doctor next week for my first step of finding out what could be wrong. The reason for choosing my G.I. doctor first, because I have been dianognsed with gastrits and acid reflux due the feeling is in my stomach. But it can be anything causing this feeling. I'm worried because I'm hoping its not a cyst nowhere in my body or cancerous.

Have you checked to see if there were gallstones in the gallbladder or smaller ones that might be blocking your cystic duct?

I have had pain in groin and increasing fatigue for 3-4 years. I saw a specialist, and he thought I had a small hernia that was insignificant. He told me to come back in a years time. I did. He did no tests, and asked me to come back, in another years time. Which i did. I went in for a scan for lower back pain. It resulted in showing I have swollen lymph nodes in my adbomen. The next week (3 years after my original visit!), I had a biopsy of lymph node of my right leg. It turned out it has lymph cancer caused by a virus. This is a herpes-8 virus, NOT HIV. I could have had it for years.
Then, a week later, I was told, the lymph cancer is all over my body. If your doctor won't do testing on you. Pay another doctor that understands lymphoma, and have a body scan. It will show lymph node swelling. If my hernia specialist had sent me for a CT scan or checked out my lymph nodes (2 years ago), it would have shown up.
I was stupid to think, that a specialist would do extra investigations under the public system.
1. Pay privately,
2.and ask for a CT scan of area.
3. Ask about swollen lymph nodes.
Sometimes, the lymph nodes are only mildly swollen, and as it happens slowly over a couple of years, you won't even notice them swelling. But if you have fatigue, and unexplained adbomen pain in belly, groin, or top of legs, (or even in glands under armpits or necks), depends if it starts in "bottom or upper" body. Do the 3 steps above. If you don't pain for orginal visit, the specialist won't do further exploratory tests (even if they say they would, as it costs the gov't money, and specialist won't do ANY extra tests.
This advice might save you 3 years of cancer spreading silently. I wish I had known better. I hope this advice, can help others avoid the silent cancer killer :ie lymphoma.
