5 years ago I had foot surgery & I still have to take Gabapentin 3 times a day. Still get the burning, stabbing, shooting pains. My foot is in a deformed state & I probably won't ever wear sandals again. Also have bad back & a knee replacement. Very disappointed in the procedure.

It's like he doesn't care when o first had my surgery. I suffered, because the pain meds were week and wasn't helping and he would not give anything stronger.i was told to take ibuprofen otc. I'm still in pain and he acts like it's nothing... Has anyone else had this problem and do you have any suggestions

Yes you can have it more than once. I have had surgery twice. Once they went in through the top of my foot and it came back 4 years later but I was pain free in that time. The second time I had it removed they went through the bottom of my foot (was told this is a guarantee it won't come back) 5 years ago and now it's back with a vengence. It's the worst.. Not sure what my next step will be but this pain is worse than any I had presurgical in both cases. It hurts when I'm not even walking on it :(
