I had sex with a condom on, and also used a emergency contraceptive two days after about 5 days ago.We checked the condom and it did not rip, and I still have no pregnancy symptoms. But I'm still terrified.
Hey nessirae,
If a condom does not break there is not chance of you getting pregnant. Imagine it like this you need to get the yolk (yellow) out of an egg,, you hold the egg over a bowl, shake it all you like, throw it in the air, roll it around the bowl, pour boiling water over it even the yellow is not coming out, now crack the shell the egg drops into the bowl. Think of the egg shell as the condom without damaging it, the contents are kept inside. Secondly emergency contraception is about 95% effective if taken within the first 24 hours to the latest 72 (3days) after sex. So don't worry it's highly unlikely your pregnant.
I would add emergency contraception is just that, meaning when sex has taken place and for whatever reason no protection has been used or protection has failed (broken). It should not be used regularly as a form of contraception, as it can cause problems for you. If you are this worried about becoming pregnant there is one was you can be 100% certain of this not happening. This would be not to have sex lol Perhaps if you worry this much when you are this careful you may need to wait a bit longer before you continue being sexually active, there is a lot of fun to be had with foreplay for both you and your partner without having full intercourse. I hope this is helpful
