I think I am having hemorrhoids because there is a blood in my stool. I don’t know if I should see doctor or to deal this on my own. I am embarrassed to go on urological exam. I’ve been only once. What can be other possible cause beside hemorrhoids? Maybe something related with GI tract? What I should do?

Blood in your stool can be a sign that is something wrong anywhere from your mouth to anus. Beginning with gastritis, bowel ischemia, vascular malformation, trauma or foreign body in the upper GI tract or from the lower part conditions like: hemorrhoids, anal fissures, diverticular bleeding, intestinal infection, vascular malformation, IBS, tumor, colon polyps or colon cancer. I don’t think that is smart move to treat your self. How were you planning to do that? Come on see a doctor, you are not a baby.
