Hi Everyone,

I have just given birth 6 month ago and still have a huge stomach. I have been diagnosed with disk herniation on my lower back.

I need some exercises that would trim down my stomach and would not affect my lower back as well

I hope somebody can help

Warm regards

Amadan

Hello amadan,

Actually there are no exercises that just work on losing fat in the stomach region.  The way you gain fat is that you gain it all over at once and that is the way you lose it as well. You can forget about sits and the like because they will not help you lose stomach fat and since you have a herniated disc you wouldn't want to do this anyway.  I suggest you do aerobic exercises such as cardio.  If you really want something easy try riding a bicycle.  If you have one for outside that's great or perhaps you might have an indoor exercise bike or a gym close by that does.  Riding a bike puts forth the least amount of energy but really burns calories.  May sound strange but it really does.  It's even better than running.  I don't know about you but I don't run and never will because my joints won't take it.
