I also have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), bloated stomach, and digestive problems. Now I'm taking digestive enzyme, but I don't see how it helps though. :(

I tried to stay away from cold food too because I know my stomach can't take them, and I have a cold stomach base naturally. I have to hug a pillow on my stomach when I sleep, because it feels cold. :(

...I just drank some cold milk, now my stomach is bloating.

Also, I am underweight and I eat A LOT. But seems like I'm not absorbing any nutrient at all, but then all the fat I ate went to my belly. :(
And my stomach expands bigger and bigger, it really feels like I can take in a lot of food.

I took at least 6-8 small meals and snacks each day, I always feel so hungry all the time. Especially at time, I have to eat something before going to bed, otherwise my stomach will get so cold and I can't sleep.

So how do you find out what food you're allergic to? Do you mark down everything?

I'm Chinese and eat a lot of Chinese food, you know how all those food are mixed together? I can't tell what I'm allergic to anymore.

I have the same problem! My stomach is a size 24 when I wake up in the morning. As soon as I eat, even if it is a banana, my stomach looks like I am 3 months pregnant. It expands to about 30 inches. After about 4 hours, it goes down a little, but by then, I am hungry, and there it goes. I don't know what it could be. It really has taken over my life--I think about it al the time. I don't go places because of the way my stomach looks after eating. I avoid eating so I don't have to look like that. I am going to ask my doctor about getting tested for H. Pyolri. That may be my answer. Any other suggestions? I have been taking laxatives to help my constipation, and have been taking Gas X to relieve the gas pain. But, the huge stomach is still there!

Check out Celiac disease. You may have a gluten Intolerance.

Hi

In November I had the norovirus bug,it only lasted a day but I  was violently ill. Since I have every day gone through stomach cramps bloating and dull stomach ache not feeling Hungary fullness on little food regular headaches heartburn and very mardy. This being in the upper abandon region.  I honestly thought it was the big c.

I have tried colofac and other remedies prescribed by the doctors and nurses at my local surgery, today I went for an endoscopy. The findings were mild astral gastritis and I am awaiting results for h-pylon infection I believe the 2 are linked. This could mean being on tablets for years. Tomorrow I am going to have a b12 blood test again years of injections should it be positive.

I suggest that anyone should ask for an endoscopy Because this infection can lay dormant inside you for years.

I hope this helps.

I had the same problem for years and it would get worse if I was in a stressful situation.  I also had severe digestive upsets when I would eat while running around town doing errands, etc.  I later started developing sporatic, but severe upper/middle back pain which would be followed by vomiting.  I thought it was bad food or that I was overly sensitive to slightly off food and privately (fortunately) blamed the restaurants for my digestive problems.  I eventually had a very severe attack which I researched and found to be gall blader related.  The gallstones passed (or whatever they did) after 3 or 4 miserable days and I haven't had another attack or any of the previous digestive problems since.  After the gall bladder episode I basically stopping the consumption of red meat entirely and reduced my dairy, other animal protein, sugar & flour significantly.  It's not fun to give up foods, but in my case it helped.  After you've had a bad gall bladder experience, it gives you motivation to change.  After about six months of diet change I've also lost 15 pounds - an added benefit, and absolutely no more bloating and "pregnant belly."

Wow! As I read over everyones posts I heard the Michael Jackson song "You are not alone" playing in my head. I am going through the same exact problem and I am starting to hate my stomach now. I love food and I rarely eat sweets, junk food, fried foods I cut out beef and pork in my diet and I eat more fruits and veggies, drink plenty of water and juice only. Sometimes I skip meals because I feel so heavy in my stomach that I don't want to add more discomfort to myself and I don't want to become bigger than what it may be at the time. I never measured my stomach after eating but I know it should not look like I am pregnant. I never know what to wear because all of my clothes fit me like they should but when I have the huge stomach I look like a pregnant woman who just don't wanna let go of the tight shirts. :-( I even tried wrapping my belly with saran wrap but I stopped because I figured out that this is an inside issue that is making the outside look horrible, in my eyes. I recently had a colonoscopy and a endoscopy done and I am now awaiting my results. I hope the Gastro doc can tell me something because I am tired of being miserable. I hope everyone is given the remedy or medical advice that they need to get those bellies back to normal. We all are gonna be healthy inside and out. :-|

Do you all drink any diet soda with meals?

After I lost a lot of weight and now have a flat stomach, it expands noticeably after meals.  If I drink a carbonated beverage, especially diet sodas (could be regular soda too, but I never drink that) my stomach expands A LOT.
