I have found one thing that often helps during these quiet situations, particularly taking tests at school: Try listening to music through an earphone during the test or class. Although some teachers may not approve (although many actually do not care), it is very easy to hide! Just make sure to only use 1 earphone, and do not make it too loud so others can hear. Listening to music will make the situation seem less quiet, reducing the anxiety! and also, when your stomach does in fact make a noise, you may not even be able to hear it through the music playing! When you cannot hear your stomach, and cannot tell when it actually makes a noise or not, it certainly reduces the anxiety.
Hope this helps!!

I have the same problem! It's really hard to sit through some of my classes now, I'm pretty sure its just my anxiety that's causing it, but the only thing that I'm anxious about it my stomach noises. It's kind of a never ending cyle that i don't know how to fix. I've been to the doctors and ive been given some peptac liquid to try to help with the stomache acid. It's taken over my life, i don't feel safe in school now ( and ia know that sounds like I'm overreacting but i honestly have a phobia of my stomach making noises in class). They honestly sound like whale calls. It's now affecting my physical health as I've been retching and shaking every morning, i was vomiting last week before school. Now it's worse than it's ever been and i was sticking my fingers down my throat this morning to try to make myself sick so i didn't have to go to school, it didn't work and i ended up having what felt like a panic attack before maths class. I've told my parents about it and they just tell me to "stop thinking about it" and that "everone goes through it". Im now scared to tell them about other stuff that's going on in my life because I'm scared of how they'll react ( I've been self harming and thinking of suicide) . I was so relieved to find that other people have the same thing, one of the solutions that ive used to get through to the school year is eating in between classes, i have like 10 granola bars in my bag every day.

Not eating enough and getting hungry- you feel this. It's a nauseating feeling and comes in cycles within your stomach
eating way to much- causes gas
Coffee- it's a diuretic that results in gas, acidity and and fast moving digestible system
Fruit- causes gas
NB- taking a sh*t 1-2 hours before doing something (unless you sh*t in the morning.) when you empty your intestines, when they fill back up with food, it sometimes can get noisy.
My trick is to eat small meals all through the day :)
Also: fart when you need to! Storing gas makes your stomach super noisy as the gas bubbles through your intestines.

I also suffer from this it's a real pain in the ass and I feel like I can't accomplish anything with this. When I am put in a quite room to take a test I feel like I can't do it I can't be in that room. In that very moment I want to cry and just run out of that room. I've been to the doctor and they just said that it's digestion but it can't be because it's non stop and I don't hear other people's stomach making this noise. My stomach growling is nonstop I've tried everything like changing up my diet. No dairy no junk food and now fiber but it's not working. I feel like it's getting in the way of my life. I can't concentrate on my classes I'm making poor grades and I'm missing allying school. I talked about this with my mom but she just said that it's normal and to try eating granola bars. I feel like most people don't think this is a real problem but it is for me. I can't be in a quite situation I just can't! I've tried everything more water, exercising, laxative, probiotics but nothing is helping its really hard to live like this it embarrassing I can't deal with being in school. Please I need advice!! I feel like very little people go through this. Good luck to those that are suffering from this.

I'm also 14 and I also have exams buts it tomorrow so I'm very scared. I've been to the doctor and I've have blood work and bowel test and X-rays but they said that I'm normal. But I feel scarred and I know this is not normal I've tried everything but nothing seems to be working my best advice to u is that u should just go to your counselor and say that u might have anxiety and that maybe u can test in a separate room away from everyone else. This worked for me but my mom told me that I can't be doing this all the time. But then again she doesn't think anything is wrong with me.I hope that this helped and good luck on your exams.

Its NOT your stomach its your DIGESTION. I would avoid eating because if I ate I would get loud growls but if I didnt eat I would get loud hunger growls.
I discovered that Im lactose intolerant and once i cut out dairy the growling has stopped.
YOU MIGHT BE LACTOSE INTOLERANT. If it isnt dairy try cutting out things from your diet and see what works.
