I’ve encountered this irritating disorder. Namely, my stomach is reacting funnily when I’m running. At first I thought it was because I caught a stomach virus, so I didn’t worry, but when the problem persisted during the next couple of days, I realized that something was wrong. What could cause this and what is the way to solve it? Thanks in advance!
I have the same problem! It’s probably because my stomach is, generally speaking, sensitive, and those large amounts of water that I’m supposed to drink in order to hydrate myself cause some problems with peristaltic. I even had blood analysis and everything was alright as well. The same goes for my stool sample. Now I’m taking certain probiotic supplements for my bowels flora and I’m feeling better. It would be good if you would have your blood tested like I did, in order to rule out the possible infection, and if you’re healthy, try drinking more yoghurt because there are certain bacteria very useful for intestinal flora. And the water you’re drinking during running shouldn’t be icy cold because that can also irritate your stomach.
It was carbonated beverages for me. I cut them out and the stomach issues with running went away.
