Hi people, thank you for your posts. I am a 69 year old female who had a totoal abdominal hysterectomy 2013. Late in 2014 I started to experience severe abdo pain which only lasted a minute or two, then severe rolling sensation in my abdo. (My children are in their late 40's), but it felt like baby movements and my husband could see my abdo moving from the other side of the room. Seems like most thing I have read here relate to abdo surgery in females, (couldn't find any male posts). Perhaps it would be good to conuslt a female doctor who has had gynae abdo surgery! As a past medical researcher, it would be an interesting project! Good luck to you all and thanks for sharing. I too thout I was going nuts.

I'm only 17 and have had many stomach problems since I was about 5. I been to many doctors and have gotten many tests done. I would get a negative when tested for a gluten allergy. But as soon as I stopped having gluten altogether my bloating had stopped. I would look like I was pregnant even being a child. Witch is of course not possible. I to have been experiencing stomach movement from the inside an that's visible.I've been doing a bad job staying away from gluten this summer I wonder if it has something to do with it.

I'm 40 and my kids are teenagers. The last two days it feel like a flutter. Like a baby moving. It's around my navel. It doesn't really hurt, but it just feels weird. I'm ignoring it for now. I have had a pg test at the doctors and 2 at home all negative. I doubt I'm pg, but what is this movement?

I too have this or similar problem when I sense my bowl movement in my right large intestine. Sometimes it moves or cramps in an obvious motion that feels like a gopher reeling through the the tunnel depending on what I eat. Based on diagnosis supposedly I have IBS with diarrhea, I've learned that vegetables in general contain high in iron and iron tend to irritate the bowl, and some fruits too have this effects. Recently I revamped my diet into total vegetarian diet which caused even more problems. Feels like the food gets stuck at the same point in my right colon and keeps bloating. So then I have to push down in order to move the bowl to the next stage. It became more bothersome during the seasonal changes. Rain, cold, high winds, low pressure definitely makes things worse.

I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy back in 2007 all showed normal. since doctors couldn't find a problem the IBS (irritable bowl syndrome) becames the suspect. But what's the IBS? Who knows? It's a generalized term for intestinal disorderly conduct. they did however find bacteria in my stomach called H. Pylori. Eradicated though antibiotics. But the H. Pylori resides in stomach. In my case my guess is that when I was 14 YO (I'm now 54) I had ruptured appendix. Operation was successful but there was a hole left in my belly to let the poss drain. After a month or two this hole covered up by itself. Of course bandages were applied to prevent infections. Gastroenterologist told me that after a ruptured appendix usually there some tissues remain or develop that clutching to the exteriors of the colon and causing those sensations. I partially concur with this theory. I also suspect that these adhesions causing the irritation within the colon. Because I didn't have any polips to suspect the obstruction. There must be some external tissues that binding with the colon. But whatever is is not a pleasant feeling. Lots of things crossing through the mind. I will cut back on vegetables and see if it will ease off. Got on the diet to reduce cholesterol and sugar. Just need to balance and proportion my diet.

Strangely I noticed something else from long time ago that whenever I catch a common cold sneezing, congestion, sore throat it worsens this bowl movement too, which is also correspondent with cold and rainy weathers, and sudden weather shifts as well as northern winds (low pressure) moves in and makes us sick. But these conditions normally apply to the chronic illnesses. Bronchitis, sinusitis, upper and lower respiratory conditions.

I can walk or move otherwise it feels more pain. It just happen this morning and I get worried. It happen out of no where. What can it be? It gives me lots of pain and then its gone. Anything to worry about. Its like my intestines are rolling and a baby is kicking and my insides are flipping.

Omg, now I know I am not crazy. I am 30 years old with a 15 months old baby and some months ago, I started getting this really bad abdominal pain / cramps that would last for just few minutes but would be accompanied with this strange tightening and rolling sensation in my stomach. When I put my hand on my stomach when it is happening, I can actually feel a big bump rolling around in my stomach. First time I felt it I was so scared. It felt just like a baby moving in my stomach and my husband felt it too. And it is clearly visible too when it happens. Once the rolling bump goes away, the pain eases off. I wasn't pregnant and didn't know what to think. I had a horrible time during and after the birth of my son with severe complications and I wasn't ready to start getting poked by doctors again so I didn't go to the hospital to have it checked out. Now I am actually pregnant, 9 weeks along and it still hasn't stopped. Just this morning I had that pain and felt that big lump moving around my tummy again. Mentioned it to my husband this afternoon and he said he saw it happen some days ago while I was sleeping. Now I am so scared and don't know what to think or do. Don't want this baby in there harmed in anyway and not knowing what is causing this movement and the pain is so scary

Well, after i ate spagetti, i ran to my room and did exercises and when i layed down, i rubbed my belly and there's like....weird gurgly bubbly sensation. It doesn't hurt but, it feels uncomfortable. Is it because it's digesting or i have gas. Why does it do that!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!! :(
