This happens when sitting down, bending over ect. when it happens at times I've gotten light headed. I do have my tubes tied.. I'm surprised I'm not the only one who has these symptoms... husband says it's inn my head

Hi, I just found this thread. I have the same symptom and I am concerned it is a hernia....but it feels exactly like everybody describes it here. Scary. I guess I have to have it checked but I have it already since at least 20 years....

I feel some movement in the right side of my tummy. Especially after I ate. When tell put my husbands hand there he thinks I am imagining things. I am worried because I am on the depo. I have two kids already and I don't see any pregnancy signs except for the movement sometimes pain in my lower abdomen gained weight and the sensitivity in my left nipple.

i was recently diagnosed with a 4” by 2” endometrioma (cyst) on my right ovary and a slightly smaller one on the left. The pain was accompanied with all of these movements. I’ve had the movements as you all describe for the last few weeks, ever sense the other pains allerted me to them. I’ve also heard of other women getting these sensations with other types of ovarian cysts. I’ve checked over and over for pregnancy because it sounds like “quickening” descriptions. Pregnancy is ruled out. Check for cysts?

I've had this for at least 10 years, maybe longer. When I lay down, I can actually see the movement, as though there's a baby moving. it startson my right side and will go back and forth. I also get terrible bloating and gas sometimes. My dad and 2 brothers have Crohn's disease and I was always worried that it was some early sign, but now I don't think so. it's so weird and i'm glad that other women experience it so I don't feel like i'm some kind of freak. I do have very irregular bowel movements (about one a week), regardless of my fiber intake. for all of you who are concerned- i'm not dead yet! pretty uncomfortable sometimes, but i'm so used to the bloating and gas that it's just a daily part of my life.

I am 20 years old with no living kids. I have also felt these movements & you can literally feel these movements along with anybody who puts there hand on my belly. Ive taken hpt none recently but they were negative and my periods haven't been on time since January they are really late and light. I really just want to know what these movements are i am really ready to go to the hospital and get test done.

Hi, feeling a little better after I read your post. Did you ever get to the bottom of it? I'm super freaked our?, did a ocean swim and swallowed sea water in the rough. ... now in vision some funny sea creature or worm in my tummy. Please let me know if there was a reason for yours? I might go to the Dr. Tomorrow.

Wow so many people have the same problem!

I have been going crazy with this for months. 9 negative urine tests, 3 negative blood test (pregnancy tests), lots of blood tests, 3 ultrasound and a ct scan with contrast. A specialist app with a gyno and a specialist in gastrointestinal and liver.

Finally the answer I got... a small cyst was found in my ovary (incidental find and unlikely to be causing symptoms as it’s do small) lesions were found in my liver (also likely to be incidental finding but having a follow up ultrasound (#4) to make sure they are only cysts. The GI is running more bloods for celiac, chrones, cancers (for my liver) but is fairly confident i have ‘ serve’ IBS.

I’m 34, with tri children. I’ve never had any good intolerances etc.

Were this is likely to have come from (the trigger) is following multiple antibiotics for different things which have changed the balance of the bacteria in my gut. Now I’m taking IBD probiotics, vitamin B to help with stress (I’ve been stressed about my health which adds to my symptoms).

Also forgot to mention, I had blood and stool tests done for parasites and bacteria (all clear).

Will post again if future tests tell a different story.

Otherwise you should consider if it IBS. My GI felt my stomach and said the movement I am feeling is defiantly my bowels.
