I recently underwent fertility treatment to donate eggs and ever since I have had these feeling of movement in my lower abdomen. I have 2 kids and it feels just like when I was pregnant. I it has been 8 months since it started. By the end of the day my stomach is distended and I kind of look pregnant. I have an IUD so I was worried about being pregnant and have taken 4 tests over the last 8 months and All came back negative. I am glad to know i'm not crazy or alone.

Hi, I am 49 years old and very puzzled by what is going on with me even after Visiting the ER. months ago I had lost over 95lbs in a little over a 3 month period. But all of the sudden I notice I was getting signs of pregnancy. Possible but something just kept telling me I wasn't pregnant. I finally took a home pregnancy test and it came up negative. Still had the same symptoms but as months went but I notice my stomach became a belly and got bigger and bigger almost like a basket ball. talk about being scared, especially after taking a another pregnancy test and still saying Negative. after 7 months of being this way I finally excepted that fact that maybe I really am pregnant but it's not showing up on the home test. I was rushed to the emergency by ambulance That evening after a bad fall in the shower. When I fell I hit my back really hard and Felt the baby react to it as I felt a cringing movement as if it jumped and got scared. it moved towards the right a little. the movements got more active and stronger. I been having bad cramps which if i didn't know any better I'd think I was having contractions. I even felt the baby drop and my stomach is even lower as if this really was a pregnancy. I been having this go on for about one and a half month I believe but after the fall I notice the movements and kicks and rolling got more active and more noticeable. After taking a urine test and blood test at the ER they said I was NOT pregnant. The I took a CT and they found a cyst on the gland of my left kidney. I go see my specialist Monday.

HI! I have exactly the same thing! the feeling like I have a big butterfly in my stomach, it's on the left side of my abdomen, and yes it feels like a baby movement, i have a 5 y.o daughter and I've experienced that butterfly sensations before right after I gave birth and then couple months after giving birth and now it came back again. So...here's what I know: at the hospital the nurse told me that the feeling of a cramps and weird movements in your belly comes from shrinking uterus, because you already know that it gets huge once you're with the baby and than it just has to go back to its previous size and I was fine with that logic explanation.
BUT!!! once the feeling came back and it really started bothering me I went to my gynecologist (THE MAN) I tried really hard to pain that odd picture of feeling of a rolling baby inside of me, however after he examined me, he said that everything seems fine, I am def. not pregnant and I may try taking CALCIUM for at least a week and than we'll see....and you know what it really helped.
BUT!!!! now few years later the feeling came back! Stronger! I feel like I have some kind of a wild animal in my belly :-( I am going to take calcium for couple of days and see if that helps me..........will keep you posted........

Wow. I must echo pieces of so many posts--at 1:35 a.m....  :-)

31 y.o. female, never been pregnant.
Feels like when I put my hand on my friend's pregnant belly. Only without putting my hand there--it's inside my tummy!
This has been going on 6 months.
Regular periods and basal temperature charting says I'm not pregnant. Never hurts to take another pg test, right? But I did take one 5.5 mo. ago.
DH of 7+ years thinks I'm a little crazy.
We're waiting to "Try" for kids for a few more months--like a previous poster, I wish we were ready now, so wouldn't be all sad if I were pregnant!
But I swear I'm not pregnant. Then again, I do have about 48 'stick' tests.... morning's coming! XD
Glad it's likely not AAA, which other sites suggested.
Super glad that some ladies checked out parasites and that's unlikely. ICKY! We just lived in a 3rd-world country. (And took 2 types of medication to kill any possible buggies upon our return to the States!)
Insurance has a VERY high deductible, so not hoping to get it checked out if it's going to be 'nothing'.
OTOH, someone mentioned bowel obstruction, which can be caused by cancer and my grandfather had stomach cancer.... We'll see. I'll probably forget to post if I go to the doctor, but will try to remember if I do :-)

Hi there.  I am experiencing similar movements in the last two weeks - but have a history of bowel surgery.  I can see lots of questions about it here - but does anyone anser - I am confused how to use the site I think...

Early 2003 I went to hospital with appendicitus.  When under the surgeon found a tumour on my bowel and removed the caecum and did a right hemicolectomy.  The tumour was (thankfully) benign but I had problems with my bowel healing and had worse complications from that.  The antimastis ? became infected and resulted in the goo from the infection coming back out through the sutra lines which resulted in days back in hospital and needed to be cleaned out approx three times in hospital and very strong antibiotics.  The "tunnel" resulted in a fistula from the bowel out via it (in my "lower stomach area") and approx a year later with much wound management etc it healed from the bottom up (granulation).  Where it healed they suspect that it may have attched to the wall of my ? and all has been fine (excpet a bit of a fluttering feeling when dead weight ie in water).

Just in the last two weeks I have had this "major fluttering" ie as described here like a baby moving - in that same area - bottom right hand side.  I know I am not pregnant.  I can actiually put my hand there and feel it.  It seems to happen more at night or when I am extended but does not have to be.  Also after I exert myself for a period of time - ie gardening.  I am petrified it is my old wound doing something - but can someone help me with what it "might be".  Sounds silly but I am too scared of going to a doctor as I do not wnat them to touch this area.

I am a 22 year old female with a 12month old baby girl, I have Lupus, but for the past month I have been so nauscious any thing i eat and drink does not sit well at all in my stomach, and then on top of that I feel as if I am pregnant again, with weird abdominal movements, as even when I am lying down you can see my stomach move, I am on birthcontrol. get the needle every three months, had blood test done this week and it shows negative as far as being pregnant, now it is very stressful that no one can give a straight answer, I went and seen my family doctor today and he has ordered some ultra sounds to see if that will show anything, i will let you know if anything comes up in ultra sounds, but if anyone else has any ideas or thoughts please share, it would be very much appriciated to find out whats wrong or get some ideas anyway.

It is so nice to know I am not crazy, but I wish we had more information.  I have been to the doctor so much that I'm afraid to go back because they already think I'm a hypochondriac.  The movements I feel are usually after I eat, and in the evening which made me think for sure I'm pregnant.  I had a tubal though and a neg hpt, so I wanted to know for sure before I went to the doc.  I'm pretty sure it's something else because with the amount of movement I see, I should be able to feel a baby when I push on my abdomen.  I'm going to go in to my doc, but please post back if anyone has answers. (I'm pretty sure I have fibromyalgia but I don't know if that is related)

Hi - It has been some time since anybody posted on this thread. But I have been experiencing the "baby kicks" for about 5 weeks now and pretty persistently all day. I am not pregnant, (8 negative hp tests, one negative hcg and 3 ultrasounds confirm this- it has cost me a fortune!).

Has anyone had any answers? It is driving me crazy!!!!!!
