This is really strange but I have been having the same symptoms as you. I tried to explain this to my husband, and you couldn't have explained what I'm going through any better than you did. Wow!! My hubby wants me to see my Dr. about this problem I have been having in my abdominal area. I'm 50 years old and I could not possibly be pregnant either, because I've gone through menstral pause. Not sure I spelled that right.

Don't panic! I have the same and It's still going on, a year after birth. It's called a Diastasis recti and seems to be very commun following a pregnancy so do not worry. Also referred as to divarication of the recti Or rectus distension It's the widening of the gap between the 2 sections of the rectus Abdominis located At the front of the abdomen.

I just had this happen to me like 5 minutes ago, it first started a few weeks ago. Its extremely painful and when it happens I can physically see the buldge in my stomach as it moves, it looks like something out of Aliens. It hurts to breathe when this happens, I try to stretch it iut but no matter what I can't get it out on my own. I'm 29, I have a 10 yr old son, I haven't had a period in 3 months and I've taken 6 pregnancy tests all came back negative. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Yes~happening now~when it happens I lay in bed~often put a heating pad on stomach. I'm starting to relate my symptoms to gallbladder attack/disorder-with constipation in stead of the other

I am a 44 Y.O. MALE and I have had these strange sensations for almost 2 years after taking Penicillin for dental work. I have had a lot of strange sensations and pains in this time period. I also have some form of muscle movement disorder that makes it feel like I am walking on a waterbed and neurological type stinging pains in my chest and abdomen. I have seen 18 doctors in the last 2 years and have even been to Mayo Clinnic. They all think I am crazy, but I know my body and mind. I have lost all faith in the medical community. For the record, I had been living in a house with a higher than normal count of Pennicillium, the mold from which Penicillin is dirived. I wish you all better luck than I have had.

I am 35 years old and had a complete hysterectomy (ovaries and uterus) 3 years ago.  Therefore clearly I cannot be pregnant.  I have had 2 children but my children are much older (17 and 10).  However, I did notice this began about 4 years ago (before the hysterectomy) but it was after a massive abdominal surgery where I was cut from hip to hip.  My movement happens off and on however over the past week it has been SEVERAL times a day.  It is NEVER painful for me at all and the distention only occurs sometimes not all of the time.  If anyone ever gets a true answer on this please give me a hollar.  My family and doctor also looked at me like I was nuts when I tried to talk to them about it.

I think it is normal or hyperactive peristalsis. I see undulating movements in my abdomen, although I am not sexually active for 6+ yrs? and I had a hysterectomy. It does not hurt. I am morbidly obese and I have a massive hernia. Hope you find an answer!

-- I am 17 years old and have been experiencing the exact same feeling after having a miscarriage. I've been quite concerned of the movements and my stomach itching. My bowls have also been infrequent and unusual.

I had the same problem. But I went to three different doctor's. The first one said its a pulled muscle in my abdomen.. the second Dr. Did blood work and a ct . Everything came back normal so he said it's fatty tissue that's making my stomach hurts. I'm 5"8 ,weight 160. Very athletic stomach not big. But the pain would keep coming and going lasting 30 mins to a hour of discomfort. So I went back to the Dr. The third time and requested to have a ultrasound by my obgyn... found out its my intestines moving very fast that's creating the discomfort and cramping... so now I have to monitor what I eat
