I have left side pain In my neck.. My ear pops too. Today I had camera ran down my nose and no signs of anything.. No lesions no tumors. It worries me because it feels different almost as if something serious is wrong.. I have not had cat scan but would feel better if I did..I was told that acid reflux is the cause and to start taking medicine for it..

I have EXACTLY the same thing going on. It's actually been sore for awhile but like most things, you wait a few days or however long & don't worry unless it gets worse or doesn't go away. So just the other night I turned my head & it hurt a LOT more than usual almost felt like when you bite a lemon and maybe like I have a marble in there or something. Feels like it's a little below the gland on the left side only. Anyone else who has this, could you mention if you're indoors more or outdoors a lot? I've been outdoors this past few years more than ever & have noticed a LOT of chem trail spraying. I really do wonder if that is what is causing this - we are breathing whatever that c**p is & I can't believe after googling my issue & seeing so many other people with exactly the same thing. People don't google when they know they have the flu or cold really, but when you don't have a fever & the pain is constant enough that you feel concerned, it can't be nothing, imagination or a flu. I am a little freaked out to have found this wow. Also looks like going to the doc won't help from what everyone who did, is saying. ???

yes, same issues here too. it started 7 mo ago with ear and eye pressure on left side, then tightness down my left neck, now i go hoarse off and on, and I mean for like just a few mintues, then gone but happens often. At one point neck tightened up like someone had there hands around my throat to the back of my skull, which DR. sent me to ER to check out, nothing. I have had Sinus CT, Head CT, blood work including thyroid all normal. I did have a MRi of cervical spine and I have multiple level disc bulging and small bone spurs. They say this could be the cause, since a lot of my MRI results show problems on left side. Waiting to get cervical facet injections to see if that helps. They also said could be GRED so will be have that checked as well.

I went online tonight to learn about whatever is going on with me prior to going to a doctor. To my surprise, others are sharing about the same issue I am experiences. Mine has only started these last 2 days though. It is very sore under my jaw on the left side of my neck. It seems to be where lymph nodes are but I don't feel a bump or swelling. I turn my neck, excruciating pain. I look up, same thing. Sometimes it goes off on its own. Most of the time it's fine as long has I mind the position my head is in. Anyone find a cure yet or at least a diagnosis?

I too have been having this issue. Mine started this time while I was on prescription pain pills and muscle relaxers for my back. Last night i didnt get any rest until I took a prescribed clariton d. Once my sinuses started to drain I had a little relief. I have had this problem before but I could feel the swollen glands but this time I cant. What scares me is that its Lupus and RA can cause these problems and both run in my family.

This may help some of you but not all of you. I had the same thing several times. I was having pain to the left and right side of my throat but not a sore throat. I went to my Primary Care physician and he said the next time it happens go to the emergency room and insist on an ultrasound. When I went to the emergency room the doctor insisted it was a gland on and told me to go home and literally was mad at me when I Insisted on the ultrasound. The tech came into the room and perform the ultrasound and all of a sudden put everything down and left without saying a word and the next thing I knew I had the doctor hovering over me telling me I'm an Enigma. I had a blood clot but nobody was looking for it. After 6 months of testing I also had to insist on a gene test and it showed that I am missing a gene which is called factor V. I am now on coumadin for the rest of my life but I've had no more of those pains in my neck for the last thirteenth years until today. Today the pain is in a different spot and much smaller. I guess I'll be setting up an ultrasound.

Mine just started. Michelle x yours sounds the most like what I am experiencing and the original writer. I haven't been to the doc yet, but have had suspicions that it is related to my thyroid because of my age and other symptoms. I've had friends warn me about symptoms they had and they received treatment. Another friend just had her thyroid removed. My gut tells me if it is not ENT related, it is likely thyroid. Thyroid problems can mimic so many things. Thanks so much for the input. You are not alone. Thank you for taking the time to post this and start the dialogue.

I have had left side front neck pain for 2 years, I have a swollen lymph node the size of a nickel, I had surgery on my carotid last year and the pain is even worse now. I'm worried because I've had Uvula Cancer before, I had it surgically removed, but I see a new growth, these Dr's nowadays, don't seem to care, and say it's nothing to worry about. But something tells me it is not good, I have an Appt at MD Anderson this Oct . I hope I get answers. Good luck to all of you. Cindy
