Hi everyone. I had an early medical termination nearly 5 weeks ago now. The termination itself was uneventful, was almost text book of what they said it would be. The bleeding stopped after 2 weeks and was told everything was fine. The clinic I went to, doesn't do a follow-up ultrasound, only a blood test to check HCG levels which came back fine. As I said, the bleeding stopped after 2 weeks. I hadn't been sexually active, but a week later started bleeding again. I called the clinic that thought it was my period returning and to wait it out to see if the bleeding stopped. The bleeding did taper of to very little brown discharge, but then started again. I called the clinic again and they scheduled me for an appointment the next day, but I decided to go to the ED anyway. The did an ultrasound and said there was a small piece of something in my Uterus and that I had Endometritis. They prescribed me some Antibiotics and said if the bleeding doesn't settle in the next few days, to return. The next morning I passed a small clot - which I assume was the small piece of tissue they saw in my Uterus. I went to the Doctors appointment and she doesn't think I have an infection, nor do I. She's was very confident that I would be okay after passing the clot. The bleeding tapered off to almost nothing last night, but this morning has come back. I don't understand what is going on? I have a 6 month old and the constant worry and the annoyance of the bleeding is really getting to me. Has anyone experienced something similar to this? It is really getting to me emotionally. It was a hard enough decision without these problems
