I worked for a dentist for 18 yrs. I get the same exact thing in my mouth especially after eat. mine are called mucosil . Not sure if I spelled correctly . It is a blister like that fills with saliva. I get them on my cheek . When they fill and I press on my cheek they pop and the saliva is thick but clear because the saliva gets clogged.. Mine I alway know when they are happening because I feel like a tingle and it starts forming. Some have to be surgically removed. Next time you get an area like that check with your dentist.:-D

A mucocele is one of the more commonly encountered disorders of the oral mucosa. It develops when a minor salivary duct is injured or blocked, resulting i n the escape of mucus into the adjacent submucosal connective tissue. usually goes away on its own in 3-4 weeks . Some need to be removed. Check with your dentist nxt time for correct diagnosis.

I have the exact same thing. Whenever I eat anything slightly spicy I get this. It goes away within a few hours to about a day. This started just a few months ago. Did you ever find out what is causing it.

I get the same thing, but only in one place. Right above my right tonsil. Usually I can pop it and it goes away. Feels like something stuck on the back of my throat. Happens when I eat spicy food. Usually Mexican or Pizza.

My PCP had no idea why I get a bump in my mouth after I eat and suggested that I ask my dentist. My dentist looked at me as if I had 3 heads and had no idea either. Mine started with nuts or chips almost a year ago and now it's every time I eat anything with salt in it. It's right behind my last tooth on the right side of my mouth.

What you most likely have is called a Mucocele. http://doctorspiller.com/mucocele.htm This dentist's website has some good pictures of them. I get them too. Mine seem to occur moreso when I suction my throat, like you keep your mouth closed and suck the back of your throat for a second when you get a tickle such as with allergies, which is really understandable if you ever experience itchy throat from allergies. Hope this is helpful. They are very common. They can be clear, flesh colored, slightly reddish, and even blue if they are a true clogged mucus gland.

I too have been dealing with this annoying issue. They come up at random, but usually after eating. I will try to get some answers from my dentist and post them here. Please share any info you guys get on these things. Sometimes mine are clear and pop easy, other times they are thicker skinned and pink/red in color and harder to pop, but they are always in the same spot on the spot my tonsils used to be. They don't hurt, but they are very annoying and worrisome. I just want to know how to get rid of them or the problem causing them.

experiencing same...food intolerances related to yeast overgrowth and/or (most likely) parasites. Research Dr Hulda Clark remedies.
p.s. many charlatans of her work out there...a good source is 'drclarkstore' and 'bestzapper' ...two reliable sources/two people that worked directly with her and forwarded her work.

I have the same issue. Mine usually appears after eating something spicy. Doesn't last a real long time. Few hours at the most. Not a clue what it is though.
