I JUST got one of these after eating a few bites of a protein bar when i couldnt fall asleep. I hadnt eaten since 1030am(17 hours ago) so i had some water and half the protein bar and within minutes i felt like I had food stuck back in my throat. I looked, and found a small clear bubble in thr back of my throat. So your theory might be on the right track! Hoping this goes away by tomorrow. Will update.

Have the same thing going on now for about 8 months. Seem to have started after I had flu like thing going on last winter. When I eat catsup or acidy foods I get this little blister in the top back portion of my throat. Always same spot and last a few hours. My gums also get inflamed and swell sometimes after eating these foods but strange thing is it seems to jump around to different areas of my gums and last several days. Gums will bleed when I brush the area. Anyone else experiment the gum problem as well?

Glad to see there are others experiencing whatever this is. This started for me a few months ago. My doctor shrugged it off and no one else seems to have heard of it before, or tried to tell me I had HPV. Would like to know what it is so maybe I can get rid of it.

Exactly what I have/had since I can remember. Almost every time I eat and drink I get one and have to reach back and pop it, which does suck if you're somewhere public. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this!

Hey guys, I'm 19 and having this problem. I know this is over a year old, but anyway, I've been having the same thing. Except mine is in a different spot in my mouth each time, normally. I had my tonsils removed 2 years ago, idk if that would have anything to do with it either. Ive never tried popping it because I'm a puss. Its not all the time either but has been happening for a few months, and it's after I eat some food. I saw someone post about maybe being yeast? I can see that, but only because I know I've had problems with yeast before; like having infections in my you know what or getting a rash under my armpits. Which hasnt happened in a few years, but I've been a lot better with food.
Does anyone have any updates?

I Thought I was the only person that this happened to. It's a little clear bubble that comes on after eating. I've had this happen off and on for years. I usually just pop it with something pointed and I'm good after that. No clue why it happens but glad I'm not alone!!

Everyone has explained the same symptoms I am experiencing.. I try to research everything I can before I see a doctor this way I am more informed and most med sites continue to say it is a mocucele cyst. Typically caused by a blockage in the salivary glands.. idk if this helps anyone

I'm having the same exact issue expect there are 2 bumps that form in the SAME spot after eating. I had a tonsillectomy a YEAR ago so it is not due to infection of the tonsils

I know it has been a long time but did you ever figure out? I have had this for 6 months now.

I actually think it is some kind of herpes I get the same thing in the roof of my mouth on the left hand side it kind of feels funny when I swallow it happens every once in awhile after I've eaten something not really sure what that I ate that bothered it but I think it has something to do with herpes I get mouth sores every once in awhile and I'm wondering if that is could of been apart of that haven't had mouth sores in a long time but this has happened several times on and off for a year now

I have the same issue. I have determined it's either a vitamin b deficiency or stress. I had several tests run, and no real food allergies just a few food sensitivities, but had vitamin b12, b5, iron, and d3 deficiency. I notice this happens more frequently when I am anxious. Good luck people:)

This happens to me to. I just bust it with my finger nail and go on. Its happened for years. Only one, clear fluid filled and happens randomly after I eat. I don't have tonsils and its not a sore throat thing. I'm afraid I'm going to get scar tissue there though bc its always in the same spot .

I could have written this. Same here. I am 28, got my tonsils out at 17.. I always get it in the same spot..in the back of my throat - I notice it because my tongue sits there. I pop it and it seems to be just a clear fluid thing. It always comes back tho.

I have the exact same issue after I eat. It is usually on by cheek by my teeth or in the are of my tonsils. I happened to be at my dentist and mentioned it to him. He stated that it could very well be a blocked saliva duct. I scratch it till it pops and its gone. that's what he believes it is.
