Basics... I have had the Essure tubal occlusion procedure done two years ago and confirmed. My husband has had a vasectomy that is as of yet still not confirmed. I have had a blood pregnancy test anyhow that was negative.

In December I was 5 days late on my period, it was strangely heavy, and more painful than normal. My next period was about five days early and really light. Having a few off periods isn't abnormal for me, though typically they are 33 days long, 14 day luteal phase. I have had two children prior, and after a few months my period has always returned to this cycle. After my second I was on the IUD where I didn't have my period at all, and after had the Essure procedure done and my cycle still quickly returned to normal.

This time I haven't had a normal period since before the strangely heavy late one, and haven't had a period at all since January. I never really stopped lactating since I stopped breastfeeding, though haven't really leaked until once or twice in the last few weeks. It looks just like regular breast milk. Not colostrum or anything. It's been there before, just now a little more than usual.

Now for the more TMI stuff... Sex with my husband, or sometimes just orgasm, causes some bleeding. I get a little randomly as well. It's almost having a really light period for a few days then goes away, but on no cycle, and a few times a week. When not being sexual I still wind up spotting from time to time. My cervix this entire time, from the time of approximately my last ovulation has been high, soft, and open, which confuses me.

I contacted my gyn about it and had blood tests done. Prolactin levels were low, TSH was normal, and pregnancy test was negative. She said unless something more happens or I want to be back on a regular cycle we're just going to let it be. While I'm rather fine with not having my period and not anxious to restart it, it's driving me nuts that I have no idea why. This just seems very sudden.

I've also gone from around 100-110 lbs to 127. Good weight for me, and I'm happy to have gotten to a normal weight, but I don't know if it relates to everything else. I also don't know how fast I gained the weight. I just noticed one day that my jeans didn't fit when I needed a belt before.

Has anyone had anything like this happen? I wouldn't think it'd be menopause or something. I'm only 28. I'm small enough that even if the tests were wrong and I was pregnant, I'd probably notice by now. Another few months and I might contact my gyn again, since everything else appears to be normal, but it just seems so strange.

I have some problem. Did you find any solution to it?  I am 32years old

I had mine implanted in sept 2012. My period had been 28 days and lasted 3-4 days all my life. After the procedure my periods got very very heavy, severe cramping, clots and my cycle would come 2 - 6 weeks then it just stopped 2 yrs ago. Now I get 2 a year for the last 2 years. I assumed I was in early menopause at 41. I just came across an article about essure and now wondering if this is why I have these symptoms and more.
