Sorry,

but I just re-read something you wrote: Wait until the 20th, her normal time. Then test.

Do you think I should test around then? Or give or take the 25th-ish if it hasn't come along yet?

No problem.

I wouldn't test any earlier than the 20th. I think you'll have a much more accurate result 7-10 days later. If she was pregnant it would take some time for the hormone levels to rise to a level high enough to be detected reliably.

The 25th, sounds like a good time to try it.

But you're pretty sure she's alright - right?

YES!

I'm sure she's not pregnant.

I trust you, I really do.

I've gained confidence through you, for that I am thankful.

I'm holding my head up high - but there will be that small little voice that's making me paranoid.

I'll post whenever I think there's something that I feel needs to be said, but for now thank you.

Honestly. You're such a great help.

Hey Dan. It's the 22nd. Over the past few days, starting the 19th-ish. She has been experiencing on/off light headaches. On the 20-21, she experienced stomach pains. This morning, she wiped and she found blood. Red blood. She told me it looks extremely normal just like a period! So, it seems as though she has it and we are safe. She told me when she put on a pad, she noticed a brownish red line on the pad - it could be just the old blood right? Nothing to worry about? Implantation (if it were to happen) should have happened like last week right? So we're ok to rule it out? She told me it feels normal, like any period. Cramps and all.

If she says "extremely normal" then I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Normal period = not pregnant.

The implantation possibility? Could t still occur?

Not if she's having her period. The lining is being shed. There is nothing to "implant" too.

Well it just started. She just wiped off the blood when she used the washroom and put on the pad. Could it be simply the old blood? I'm just concerned because of the brown coloured line. The blood she wiped was clear red.

Brown is old blood. It may have been from during the night. It will turn redder.

Sounds normal so far.
