they are called labia minoras and it is normal for women to have this some women have them larger than other sometimes its both sides you can have surgery to reduce their size but alot of women have had nightmare stories and wish they had never done it not everyone is picture perfect so you are fine

Hi, I am a guy, but I have seen a lot of them, and I would say DON'T worry, everyone's different, nothings wrong, no surgery, no worries, enjoy who you are and how you are. Don't compare yourself to anything or anyone you have seen on the internet, that would be crazy.

Totally normal. There are plenty of women whose inner lips (labia minora) are visible. Just like breast size, height, hair color, skin color, whatever--it varies, it's a preference. Some women even intentionally stretch theirs to make them longer (search for "labia stretching" if you don't believe me). On that note, for the girl who has one shorter than the other, you could try tugging on the short one. Do it regularly, after a while it will be the same length as the other (again, search for more info).

But I am SO worried about it, I'm only 15, I've never had sex or necessarily done anything to cause it as in labia stretching, and it's been like that for years. I thought it was some kind of actual problem!

Every single time I compare it to a diagram of what a normal vagina looks like (which yes, I have done, so I can more easily describe it on sites like WebMD that might have someone who can advise me on the situation) I freak out because, well, it doesn't look normal, it doesn't look like that "perfect" model of the vagina. Plus I've been taught when certain things look different, something must be wrong--obviously not minor differences, but something like this kind of scares me.

I m 24 years old and i also have the same problem....I asked ma mom abt it...n she said its natural...I think its a family thing :$ .....But the problem is...one of it is large enough to hangs out...n its so painful when i wear tight jeans....coz when i move around...it tend to pull it.....

i would wait until youre married or at least an adult to fully be mature enough for sex. but obviously its your choice. im 20 and still a virgin, i am planning to wait for my husband to give up my virginity, but i do everything but- oral, fingering etc. save actual intercourse for the guy you will be with forever. but you are normal and if you are insecure it shows you need to wait for sex until you are comfortable with your body 100%- that way you will enjoy sex and do it out of love rather than just curiosity or pleasure. every girl looks so different down there. i used to think my inner 'lips' meant i was stretched and guys would think i was a s*** or something, but honestly, from experience, you could have 10 feet long vaginas and a guy wouldnt even notice lol! thank god they arent as detail oriented as us girls :)

Holy c**p, this made me feel so much better! I have to same problem and I hate when my boyfriend wants to do stuff because I thought it was cancer or something but was too scared to ask my doctor! lol.
