stretchy pink tinge to dark brown cervical mucus

I also have been experiencing the same thing and i have also had a c section but my daughter is 2 and a half now?? what was your outcome?

I posted as 3in3years earlier and just wanted to update. In October 2010 the mucous finally went away and on November 1, 2010 I had a positive pregnancy test. My only guess is that it took my body just over a year to get the hormones back to normal. Good luck to all you ladies!

O.M.G, I didn't think it was because of my c-section but after reading all of your answers, I believe it might be. I didn't see anyone actually come back to tell us what it was though. I used to have the white stretchy discharge 2 days every month before I got pregnant. My period didn't come back until my son was 4 months old. I had an IUD (marena) for 1 year. 1 month after having it removed, my periods have been coming twice a month. Now anytime I get the stretchy discharge, it's more of a tan color. But yesterday (day 18 of my cycle) right before I sat down to use the restroom, I had stretchy brown mucus, with a faint white streak. It doesn't seem like something we should be worried about; it seems like this is just one outcome of having our uterus cut and closed. But now that I see that a number of people have the same exact situation, so I am going to talk to my doctor about it. 

Hello!! Ok I have four kids my youngest twins are 15. I found out I was pregnant again May 13th 2011. My Dr. sent me straight over for an ultrasound the baby messured 7weeks 4 days NO Heartbeat :(((( He repeated the ultrasound one week later still No Heartbeat or growth in the baby. I had a D&C May 20th 2011. I only had bleeding for 3 days. I have had intercourse several times since my D&C. I took a ovulation test on June 9th and it was positive. I had intercourse the day before I ovulated and the day after.  I then took a pregnancy test to make sure all the other pregnancy hormone were gone and it was neg. It has been 12 days since I ovulated and yesterday I have had a little cramping with slight blood tinged mucous. This is only when I use the restroom and wipe, and does not happen everytime. I am also having strange twinge feeling in my lower abdomen. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was neg. I am not sure when my period is supposed to start considering I have not had one since my D&C. Is this implantation bleeding considering I am 12 days past ovulation? Hey I have been experiencing something similar.. I had sex more than a month ago (on the 2nd of January) then when my period was due to start 3 weeks after there was brown and pinkish spotting with a little blood on and off for about 2 days until it went completely brown (like brown discharge) since then I experienced what I thought was my period 2 weeks before my period is usually due but it was just a little blood for a day and very light. I am now due to start my next period and a week ago I experienced the same stretchy brown discharge for a day. Then again three days ago for a day only (no blood). I am feeling very hungry and thirsty and my stomach feels different from normally. If I missed my period before I would be 7 weeks? But I'm waiting to see if I will get my period tomorrow or not. Will keep you informed with the outcome, but does anyone have any idea of what this could be? Much appreciated
