I had been on Methadone for ten years .. slowly weaned down from 180mg to 27.5 and jumped onto the suboxone twelve days ago.I have done this with my doctor so they have followed all policies and procedures. What I cannot understand is that I am still getting sick and feeling uncomfortable. Mosts posts about the swith say it takes a few days. I do not want to go back..I want this to work..At times I feel very uncomfortable in my body ..headaches , hot flushes, feeling like i might pass out...
I know I have been on the Methadone for a long time but I was hoping i would feel 100% by now but dont. Could it be the Methodone is still coming out of my body and mind.And the suboxone hasnt reset my brain yet.. What do you think ? Has anybody else had a long changeover.?
